I have no clue about the value, but I'll say this: An original running car that looks like that for less than the price of a paintjob has to be a good deal. I would have bought it for that myself, and I'm not looking for a car right now. Really nice!

Leanna, I had an '83 also, but it was a GLX vert (302 / 5 speed). I'm actually kind of thinking about a '99 to '04 GT coupe for my next daily (current car has 180k), but it has to be bone stock, and in a more subdued color. Really nice car, though. Good luck.

I bought my 73 Duster for $2500 earlier this year. It was running, driving, registered, with zero perforation. Just surface rust where the paint burned off of the horizontal surfaces. There are some awesome deals on the very early and very late a bodies. More of the later cars come better...

Even if you pay to ship, like I did, it's worth it. Nothing beats SoCal rust free steel. I paid $2500, plus shipping for my SoCal Duster, and don't regret it.

There's an *** for every seat. Still, it is a SHARP car in spite of the steamroller tires.
