Finally installing the 8 3/4 in Bluefish

I have a restoration manual that shows what the driveshaft length should be from the factory with different engine/trans/differential combos. I used that for my base number, then measured my old driveshaft in the car with the new ( 8 3/4 ) rear end, then calculated what needs to come off. That...

Finally installing the 8 3/4 in Bluefish

Not sure yet on the springs. I'm used to the back end up in the air with air shocks. Once I get the driveshaft in I can get the car outside and get a real good look at it. It measures close to level, guess I was hoping for more. Good news is I picked up the driveshaft today and it measures...

Finally installing the 8 3/4 in Bluefish

After collecting parts for what seems like years, the 7 1/4 is finally coming out. Spent the summer putting miles on the new 340 and working out the bugs. Decided to replace the 7 1/4 over the winter before it scattered...not really having any issues other than it wants to spin the right...

Hobby Lobby sale on Tin Signs

Stumbled into the local store last night. They are having a 50% off sale on all tin signs. Could have spent a fortune there, as there was way too many to choose. Settled on the red Cuda sign that I have been looking for, and the Duster and Road runner signs that I had never seen before. Hung...

71 degrees on December 26 ? Time to get the car out

Have to take advantage of the good weather when you can...probably won't be like that again till April or so. I really wish I had moved to a warmer climate years ago, before starting a family and such. Too late now LOL. Just have to deal with it. Supposed to start snowing this afternoon. Larry

71 degrees on December 26 ? Time to get the car out

We haven't had any snow yet...so no salt to deal with. Just came out of a real cold blast around 0 before the big warmup. Supposed to get the rain/snow/sleet later this week. Bluefish is tucked away now until spring LOL. Larry

71 degrees on December 26 ? Time to get the car out

Hard to believe 71 degrees in Cincinnati in December. Even though the Cuda was tucked away in the garage, had to put the top down and go out for a cruise. Been working hard to get the new engine broke in and dialed in. Finally figured out the vacuum advance on new electronic distributor ...

Taking my car to a shop

I feel your pain. Took Bluefish in for an alignment, shop t. old me they were experienced on older cars. Didn't set the front end height and crushed my new wheel bearings with an air impact. Needless to say, I won't be back. Good luck. Larry

The Girls Topless in the garage....

Thanks guys....really considering it .At least for now. Last big project is to install the new leaf springs and 8 3/4. Going to be a winter project. Then next spring I can hammer down without worrying about imploding the 7 1/4. For now, it's top down and enjoy. Larry

The Girls Topless in the garage....

After what seems like 3 months of heat and humidity, the weather finally broke last weekend. So the top went down on Bluefish and Midnight. Got up early Sunday morning and installed my new AMD front bumper....only took 11 years to get around to it LOL. Now it's the shiniest part of the car...

    Mopar Nationals

This was my 23rd year...seen a lot over the years. Friday hot and humid, and pretty crowded, especially on the Fun Field side. Judged side looked kind of lean, but that seems to be the trend . Rode in a Viper on the Dodge thrill ride this year, was pretty wild. Steve Magnete was entertaining the...

Bluefish...finally got to enjoy all of my hard work

Thanks guys. I bought the seat covers and foam inserts from Legendary. Rear seats were fairly easy to do. Fronts weer not....Tried the passenger side bucket first. Everything went well until I installed the seat back onto the bottom, and realized that the verticle seams did not line up. Had to...

Bluefish...finally got to enjoy all of my hard work

Drove Bluefish to work yesterday, first time in several years. Car was flawless in 90 degree + heat and humidity. Never got over 190 degrees in traffic. Other than the tach not working ( fixed it during lunch ), the trip was enjoyable and relaxing. Parked her in the garage after getting home...

I can't thank you enough....I've done some crazy things in my life, some I've gone on to regret. I've tried to learn from my mistakes though, and not buy on impulse or feelings. Really hard to do when you are a passionate car guy...LOL. I've been looking for a Mirada for some time now. There...

    Tacoma Washington Members Here?

I've been looking for a Dodge Mirada in good shape... Found one on the net at a place called Sebeti Motors on South Tacoma Way. Received a dozen pictures so far from the salesman of a super clean 82 Mirada with T-tops. 318, auto, full power. Problem is, it's about 2000 miles away. If I knew for...

    Hedman 78050 in a 67 Cuda..anyone use them?

In the process of building a new engine in the 67, and am toying with the idea of getting rid of the stock exhaust manifolds. Really don't have the money for TTI's, and have had fit problems and ground clearance problems with some hedders in the past. Anyone had any experience with these ? I...

Pro-Fit Auto Interior Anyone buy from them?

Looking for white rear seat covers for our 67 cuda convertible, along with a well cover. Priced Year One and Legendary.
