On the 70-71 rallye clusters was the trip meter dial a push to reset or turn to reset?

Looked back through my pics of the progress and found a shot of the floor. It does appear the outer holes have not been drilled for the bucket seats. So that is likely the issue. He was probably trying to use the outer bench seat hole.

After searching a bit more. Looks like the shop is probably trying to install the buckets using the outer bench seat holes and those need to be drilled just inside the bench seat "riser"?

Ok. So the shop putting together the 70 Duster said the seat tracks on my seats are 13" apart and the holes that a previous shop drilled are 15" apart? Trying to figure out if the holes were in the wrong spot or the tracks on the seats I got are wrong. All while being half a state away. So...

Is there difference in the bucket seat tracks for 70-75 A bodies? If so, anyone have a picture of the different tracks for the different model years?

Ended up buying 2 NOS pieces so I should be good now! THANKS everyone for helping sort this out!

Anyone have the retainers that hold the buttons in place? Or even a picture of the correct retainers so I know what I am looking for.

Larry contacted me today and said he went over to look at the 71 Charger he reassembled for me. It has the same release buttons as he needs for the Duster. So it looks like the one I bought yesterday (pictured above) is the correct button. Now I just need another one for the passengers seat...

When I ordered seat backs I ordered..... MD474100 71-74 Seat Backs.....from Classic Industries. Makes me wonder now, if Larry has tried to install the backs. I may a have a "cluster" on my hands. Never a good idea to try to make all this work from so far away from the project.

Unfortunately, no I do not. I bought these several years ago (as pictured) and just now got around to using them. The shop has already installed the 71 foam and seat covers.

If your interested in selling, I would have one side less to hunt down! :) Does anyone have a part number, a manual cut away of what all parts are needed or even a picture of the button removed from the seat? I am 350 miles away from the shop that putting the car back together and trying...

Anyone happen to know the part number for the seat back release buttons for 70-71 A-body buckets? Do any other Mopar seats have the same release buttons?

Are the frames for these 72 (or 73 later) the same frames as 70-71? I have these 72's and a set of 73-later A-body buckets and would like to install 71 foam and covers for my project. Either one of those seats work? I guess the easiest way to ask is...are there any other frames (not tracks)...

Guess I need to figure out a way to cover the hole without welding it up. I also bought all the 4 speed stuff (from other cars) but decided to go with auto and EFI.

Okay, so the opening in the dash just to the right of the column (where it would be), is....wiper? At my dads shop gathering all the parts to take to the resto shop for my Duster project. I could not remember what the frame was from (bought it years ago).

Looks like it to me. Just missing the woodgrain decal. The early pre-70 models had a recess area down the middle of the top plates.

If you paint it, don't use a gloss paint. The glare is horrible if you do. Here is a fuzzy phone pic of a painted dash using the original suede black from Mike Mancini.....

I am looking for a pic that shows the area where the headliner meets the windshield on a 70 Duster. Is there a trim piece that covers the area, or just the window rubber?
