    Another NPK question

I believe with the costs of putting on a show of this caliber, prices are reasonable. The cost of the liability insurance alone has to be stupid.

    Another NPK question

Just think of the money those guys have in their cars to run in the 3’s in the 1/8 mile. You don’t see them with major sponsors pasted all over their cars.

You want to attend a high end race? It costs a lot. Price NHRA tickets, that will put it into perspective.

    FED EX.......WTF

Best thing to do if your in Canada and close to the border is to ship it to a drop just inside the states and jump the border. No duty, no stupid shipping charges and no waiting.

    Should I buy this 440?

I would make sure I knew what I was getting, what year, forged crank and if it really runs without any problems. Generally police maintenance is top notch, after sale to the public, so so. I don’t know the 440 market, so all in all you don’t know what you all are getting till you get it running.

    who does rechroming

I’ve said this numerous times on these forums, the pitting comes from impurities in the metal. Dig them out, fill them in. Reshape and re-chrome them. That does not mean they won’t pit again, they will eventually. The metal is made from scrap, pot metal, anything thrown into the pot. Most...

I believe you are going to find restoring pitted pot metal expensive.

    Any Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) Recommendations?

Depends on how much you want to spend on an inspection. If it is a high dollar car it might be worth it. This guy does inspections. I have met him and seen his collection. He is VERY knowledgeable. He is based in Illinois so his fee will include travel. He may even negotiate a deal for you.

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

I’m sure it is nice, I believe it is not at the 200 k value. Its easy to get emotional about these cars, like I am about mine and everyone else is about theirs. It’s not grumpy’s 68 Camaro or sox & martin 70 cuda. Those are high dollar, significant history cars. I saw quaden dodge hemi dart sell...

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

I’ve researched these cars, old cars price guide and another internet collector car forum and the consensus is these cars are valued at 93-97k , and that is for a top condition car.

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

If it came out of the S&M stable and was the car Ronnie toured with in the 90’s, it was done just like the original. How do I know? I asked Ronnie and he told me so.

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

Y’all getting the floor sloppy with your drooling. I disagree with your valuations. Never heard of that car, no name recognition like “red light bandit”. Back in the day did it win any national events? What dealership sold the car and to who? Most of all, it’s condition and originality.

    Your Thoughts....

You would think they would make a chrome film that could be applied like gold leaf but with a heat gun. Was not the chrome originally applied with a hot stamp process?

    PG classics

This is a current thread so I’m spouting off here. Anytime you buy diecast pot metal parts, you take the chance of inferior base metal quality. Its called pot metal for a reason, its all scrap tossed into the pot, aluminum, zinc, magnesium and whatever. You will also find trace of heavy...
