Maybe I am wasting my money but the upholstery shop had a lot of grey leather in stock from an old job and talked me into using it in my 66 Barracuda. The seats look amazing and with the new foam are even comfortable again. I'm using Black carpet and headliner. Now I have to decide on colors...

Watch out for the saddle blanket covers they sell in the parts store. Last one I bought only lasted about a year. You might consider talking to an upholsterer about custom made. It'll cost more but will fit and last.

don't know how well it will work yet but I used black caulking with silicone. we don't get that much rain here and I don't park under trees

check on craigslist, you might get a reasonably good deal on a used one with a little patience.
