[WANTED] Lower Ball Joint bolts needed for K-H setup

Good to know. Zero clearance issues with lock nuts on my k/h setup. Maybe I’ll switch to 2-1/2” later since you “DO NOT” need nuts. Not really a problem when you go to the fastener counter and tell them what you need.

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

No worries mopower wasn’t mad sorry if it came across that way. Many ways to skin the cat as mentioned previously. I was just giving you the option in case you were still unsure and changed your plan of attack. I was merely say “get er dun” one way or another

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

Mopower. The hold-off valve is not cheap. An adjustable prop valve is pretty cheap $30 on eBay. Or from summit racing. You can splice it is wherever you want past the distribution block. If it will be too much trouble to remove and replace the existing distribution block I’m happy to easily...

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

Adding a new adjustable prop valve involves cutting the lines and flaring them to attach to said valve. It is easy to do. With plain old drums in the back it’s not something Uber critical. Hell you could simply not use a prop valve at all. People have done it without issue. The main thing you...

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

Here is the easiest, simplest way to do it. Remove your stock drum brake distribution block you have pictured. Leave the old brake lines in place. Install proportioning valve in its place. Hook up old brake lines. DONE! Hope that’s simple enough for you

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

I see you’re missing the little s-clip that holds the lines coming from the MC together. I have one if you need it. My lines don’t touch like that obviously.

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

Just look at the pics and you can see the differences. I had to massage my pre-fabbed lines slightly to make it work. It was simple. Little bends here and there. I don’t see why you can’t make the heat shield fit. Nothing about the newer style valve obstructs the shield, it’s easy enough to...

[WANTED] kelsey hayes part and proportioning valve

I ran into the same problem. I ordered pre fab lines for a 68 dart not knowing it had a separate hold off valve for the rear drums. If you order a 70 and up you can just plumb a regular integrated proportioning valve as pictured. Since I wasn’t going 100% 1968 factory correct, I just added a...
