90' oil filter adapter keeps leaking!

Or try getting a new gaslet from 4secondsflat.com. Don at FBO will hook you up with Cometic gaskets. No sealant and no leaks for me.

    Cam and lifter questions!

I just read my new Lunati Voodoo 268 instructions five minutes ago and it said to use aftermarket lifters when using an aftermarket camshaft. I believe lifters are relatively cheap but I would just go ahead and get the camshaft and lifter kit all in one. Just my 2 cents.

What is the correct amount of vacumn advance?

Intial and mechanical are set with the vacuum plugged as far as I understand it. Vacuum advance is for economy. The mechanical is what is built into the dizzy and is controlled by rpm. I think the OTB MP ignition kit says all in by 2000-2200. You should be in the 32-38 range depending on you...

Yeah the outside garage setup is nice. I got a good laugh out of your comment. or seek out the nearest race facility that sells race gas (look into places involved in Baja racing as they run higher compression engines and are refered to as off-road vehicles and they are allowed to use higher...

    RPM Airgap vs. non-Airgap?

This is my first attempt at building a street/occasional strip car. I have not run this car or engine before. Good point on the carb changes. Hopefully I can get an ideal test setup but could be interesting none the less. After talking with FBO on my setup it sounds like I will have...

    RPM Airgap vs. non-Airgap?

I'm trading in my M1 for a Performer RPM non-airgap. But before I do it I am going to run a a little test between the two. I plan on posting the results when I Get the car running. Never gets really cold here.
