Seen it done the other way to fit the 68-69 tailight into a 67. Anything is possible with a welder

I riveted scoop to hood then fiberglassed for smooth transitions and to hide the rivets. Has not cracked in the 6 years since I did it, but has not seen many miles the last few years.

Taillights are different and don't match up the same, but the 69 panel will fit

I pop riveted a six pack scoop on to my steel hood. I then fiberglassed things smooth. I fine tuned with some body fill and had it painted. Has been about 4 years. No cracking as of yet. Mine is functional. I also braced the underside hoping to take out some flex.

I am working on a 96 dakota. I have a bunch of different colored plastics which i want to dye or paint to the same color. I see most are ABS plastic and some are PP Has anybody done this around here? I know lots of clean with soap and water Scrub with a fine scrubby to rough up surface a bit...

My drawing is not accurate. The A body position is IN the slot just above where the tab is now. B body must be where the tab is pictured. I will update that drawing so it is correct for others on future searches

Factory service manual apparantly has it. Not the pic I recall but similar answer. I could take pics of doing it with a junk 3 speed I have floating around (if I didn't scrap it) It's a very simple procedure. The pic below has the locations needed

If I find another wiper motor I can takes pics as I do it. It'd very straight forward though. I have never seen the info any where else on the net. I believe it was on mopar style I found the info from. But when I went to get the pic recently it was gone :-(

If you take a look at the top or engine bay side of the wiper motor. There are three (going from head) phillips screws that you can loosen. Simply line the mark on the top plate with the locations listed in the photo and then your 3 speed wiper motor works with any of the labeled body styles...

All 3 speed wiper motors interchange between body styles. Just need to re-clock the top plate

I assume he means the rt scoop version. As far as I know there are no makers of that hood you dream of. Only option is cutting and welding to make your own

Ok this is for the three speed wiper motor. If you look at the top side where all the wires join you will see three screws that hold the tin cap onto the base. On the tin plate there should be a tab lined up to the notches. Loosen the three screws (may have to loosen the wire hold down screws...

If it is a three speed wiper motor there is only the clocking to change and use the a body linkage and your all set. I have a diagram somewhere on how to clock it to the right position somewhere for a body usage. Can't find it at the moment. It is on my computer which has not been set up...

some trucks have the hydraulic bottle jacks I believe the late 90s ford f150's lots of chrysler cars use the scissor jacks.

I used it about 2 years ago. Lasted through the freeze thaws of winter. as far as daily usage i cant make an opinion as i have hardly driven the car.

i am currently in the process of doing this, but i went a totally different route. I cut the hood out and installed the scoop between the outer skin and the hood frame. I then popped a bunch of rivets and then filled over with fiberglass and now i am just snoothing everything out to make it...

i seen them at Laysons restorations in their tent in the summer time. I had them in my hand but decided not to buy them.

just random but i just ran into the door latches on a dart are different in 67 then 69. The locking mechanisms are different. I assume 68 is the same as 69
