    weiand vs eddy t-ram

only tried the edelbrock on my 340,worked very good. theoreticly the weiand should work better on a higher rpm motor with its bigger plenums and shorter runners, this is just by judging by pictures

How would you mate the two halves of a tunnel ram together?

i just dont get it why is it that you wont buy the right gaskets since they seem to be available anyway for 7$ its not like they are to expensive... except maybe that it could take alitle time to find someone who has them in stock

    Six pack on 318

you dont need to buy the correct carbs for a sixpack, you can find other holley two barrels that work just as good for alot less money, they wont be vacumoperated, they will be mecanichal thats basicly the diferens and you will have to put some time into it to make them work right

    Six pack on 318

ok on the part of a sixpack being very expensive that is very true if you buy all the right parts that is correct for it, but a few years back i spoke to a man who i unfortionaly cant remember the name of and he had a very good ide on this and even gave me the offer to help me set this up, he...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-6999/ i have used black rtv may not be right but it worked for the time i used it, if i had had some more time on my hand i would have ordered those gaskets instead :) some of the old edelbrock streettunnelrams where smartly designed since some of...

    thinking of going scooped

on a dart i personaly think a sixpack scoop looks better but its very tight getting a tunnelram under it i used to have a edelbrock tunnelram with two 750proforms under my sixpack scoop on my 73duster and it fits with some small aircleaners but its just barely and the aircleaners did rub alitle...

    318 tunnel ram street friendly?

yep just like anyother intake it must match up nice to the rest of the build a fairly small streetrollercam alitle over [email protected], 9.5-10:1compression with some eddy rpm heads 1 3/4" headers, 3000rpm stall and depending on tiresize but 3.73:1 gears with 28" tall rears and two 500cfm edelbrocks...

    318 tunnel ram street friendly?

couldnt that have alot to do with the fact that your roommate didnt have the whole package to make it work right? it kind of anoys me alitle that there is so many people saying tunnelrams are a bad induction when 99% of the people posting this never tried one themselves on something that...

    318 tunnel ram street friendly?

inkjunkie not saying you are wrong ,but a very good friend of mine has a 383 chevy with a tunnelram and dual 500cfm edelbrocks on it and it uses alot less fuel compared to what a 750proform dublepumper did ontop of both an airgap and a torquer manifold, however this is on a motor that is built...

    318 tunnel ram street friendly?

i agree a 318 can be run on the street with a tunnelram but it has to be built to use it, it takes a pretty mean 318 to realy take advantage of it and all the other stuff that is needed in the driveline to match up

dual carbs & tunnel ram OR M1 and 850 dp????

my old eddytunnelramed 340 with two 750proforms(even if the carbs where to big it still ran alot harder than most would ever think, i just used what i had) tunnelram it! and yeah those 450´s would be way small, i would go for 600´s at least. a well tuned tunnelram is a very good...

    340 tunnel ram

i can only see three reasons 1 it takes a good motor that can and will be able to use it, not a stock -75 318.. it needs to be built to take advantage of it 2 the law, yep the law around here doesnt realy like the fact that someone can get hurt by some kind of sharp edges and stuff if...

    Anyone using Tunnel Ram

i did run one fore a short period of time ´(didnt take it of cause of poor performance or anything like that) ran very well on my 340 with two 750proform dubblepumpers even if those carbs where way to big according to most and it would probably have ran alitle better with smaller carbs :)

    edelbrock STR-14-6

i would work someting out using wire and mounting the mounts to the studs that bolt down the carbs would probably work out nicely for litle investment if you just take your time and dont mind fabricating some parts :)
