Not sure if this will help or not. But I just happened to have a 71 Demon rear chrome side marker housing laying here on my desk. Part# from back side is 3403734.

I am getting the impression that they had several different people that painted the stripes on, and they each did there own thing. Also maybe where they were built Hamtramck, California, etc made the differance.

The dimensions in dusterman70's link say it is an 1/8" stripe. But in this picture which was scaned from a 1971 Dodge brochure doesn't it look like the thin stripe is wider than an 1/8"? It looks closer to 1/2" to me. Thanks Warren

You might try Laysons, I think they used to offer them. Fronts are different on a Demon. I broke down and bought NOS, but they are pretty expensive. Good luck. Warren

I agree with Alleyoopmgv. I have used the bottle opener several times and it works great. Be sure to put a wrap of tape around it. I also put a layer of tape on the molding itself. Just work slowly and it will peel right off.

I was thinking the outside door handles on a 70 Duster and a 71 Demon had different part #'s. Mopar Performance is selling outside door handles and one part # covers both years. Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks Warren
