back n the 60`s and 70`s the s/s springs were made in the good ole U>S>A> , not in mexico !!

your missing the point ,I used to run 002-003 springs on a hemi belvedere , it hit them hard , did not bend one ever , but wore them out after a few yrs , the mexican springs wont take that now , unless they`ve changed . Your street car will not hit them like a full blown high h.p. drag car...

liking mexicans has nothing to do with it , I have set that was on an A body race car , and the 002 is bent just in front of the rear spring hangar . I swithched some leafs out and supported the bent one more , but havent tried them ....

my calvert springs have settled a bunch , even added a half leaf to the right side to keep it level , so far I`m not impressed with the set up at all , that being said , the one time I took it to the strip , it did go very straight , "I think." Didnt have enough bite anyway...

I dont own it now but , my ex hemi car still has the 002-003 springs under it , I have a bent set (drivers side), mexican springs on the shelf now .... the good old sprigs didnt bend , just got weaker , had about 4 sets over the yrs. none bent , except this mexican set ...

Dont remember the part number , but I have a new set boxed up in the garage , I had them on my 68 fast back , and never drove it with them on . I got a super seal on a complete cal trac system and pulled them back off.......if your interested .
