Hobbies cost but i think the problem is us. I have seen some take an already very nice car and spend a fortune to completely re do it? A lot of money can be spent on aftermarket pieces that don't provide much improvement...and are often a step backwards for a street driven car. Stock parts often...

yes...paint is your next step.Then the fun begins as you restore or replace all those gorgeous pieces. Now there are rewards every day!

think "factory production line" If there were any threads or adjustment required it would have been left natural. Lower control arms were dipped in cosmoline (a wax and kerosene compound) most everything else some shade of black

The way your project is looking i don't think any amount of money spent would be regretted. That car and colour is beautiful!

if he is super fussy he'll probably want those pieces replaced with new.But you can make them "nice" by carefully sanding,masking and repainting them with the appropriate blacks and light argent paints.You probably want to stay away from chrome style or aluminum paints...they just don't look...

by all means make it run better and safer...tires,disc brakes,dual master...

i don't think white interior was available in '69...it would have been pearl. ..just make sure you paint the exterior a colour that was available in '69 (for Darts).

if it's not too late.... i think 68 interior was pearl.I took a similar 68 dart interior out and cleaned it with trailer awning/vinyl cleaner and the results were outstanding.If yours came back like mine you may very well like it.

the extra current for those lights will reduce your hp Don!

..i love the primer undercarriage with overspray..don't know why so many go with body color. great build!
