Where do these NPK street outlaw guys get all their money

SOCIAL MEDIA. YouTube, instagram, tiktok etc. I have no idea what each team makes, but there are car personalities on there make 6 figures a month off SM. Do a little research on the YouTube algorithms and you’ll see, it’s crazy.

    Can’t win for losing

Don what’s the VIN and license plate. I’ll have wife post it on Facebook. Unreal the views crap gets on there. She knows a lot of people in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, maybe it’ll help. That being said, I’m in Kalamazoo off D Ave. I have a very nice 20’ dovetail ATC trailer only couple...

Memphis trying to kill a Hummingbird

They flat out don't respect those cars. They can say what they want in the intro's and what not but their actions and behaviors around you just show they don't respect what they can do. But its their money and their business, plus I'm sure a wrecked car video gets more "hits" than a clean pass.

    Dana 60 S60 or Ford 9"

I thought you meant the big hole 3/4 the way up. Theres a 1/2” pipe plug in the bottom to drain. Around that is a piece of 1-1/2 moly so you don’t jack right on the plug, you can also mount wishbone off the other side.

    Dana 60 S60 or Ford 9"

FWIW- I changed to a 9” a couple years ago. I run low 9’s with a 4 speed and basically what you describe. I usually run 4.88 to 5.13 ratio and in a Dana when I broke a set after 12 years in 2016 it was a 6 mo wait for pro gears. I tried a set of street gears that lasted 6 passes. I eventually...

2019 Stickshift Challenge @ The Nats

Yep! There’s usually an A100 there but I think he’s a conventional 4 speed now. A couple of early A’s. 1 time trial Friday then usually a gamblers, 2 time trials Saturday then eliminations. Just a heads up-PA system there kinda sucks so listen close or bring a radio with you.

2019 Stickshift Challenge @ The Nats

Meet track/nhra requirement for et/safety. No hydraulic release or air shifters. Must leave and shift as direct action of the driver. Typical handicap race. Also a factory (3,4,5,6 speed) trans gets you a $100 bill if you get to the finals. Usually a good mix with new challengers...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Not sure what it weighs. I’ve built a lot of Dana’s over the years and I’d bet 10-15 or so lighter just from tossing it around. Took for maiden voyage. Clutch needed a bit of adjustment and carb must have done crap in it. Want to load up and run a little rough so going to have to straighten...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Correct it is a 9”. Not a single factory piece in it so we can call it whatever.lol Got housing back, and assembly back under the car. Had some wiring to straighten out in the trunk. Axles also came in from Dr.Diff. The Steelers are on and they just clear the Right Stuff disc conversion...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Trans is finished and bolted up, same with shifter linkage. All the powder coated pieces are done as well. Still waiting on axles from Dr. Diff but getting closer. Z-bar linkage is a pain. I'm using Dougs headers and it hits right in the middle of the tube. I think the tti modified would...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Tires are Nitto NT555R. They're on new 15x10 steel wheels, wheel vintique, and essentially dictated rear end width. I just finished painting the wheels body color the other day, waiting for the fronts to come in. As you can see on the 8-4/4, I had to notch the back brace to clear the shocks...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

There's a local Mopar race at US131 on Sept 9, so my goal is to have it rolling by then. I had a Dana 60 housing laying around, but I decent to put a "8-4/4" in it. I built the housing a while back for someone else, but they changed wheel combo mid way so ended up too short and I've been...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Took better part of a day cleaning the entire underside of the car. I previously put frame ties in for the previous owner. Once clean the bottom was epoxy primed and then painted. I think I'll put some undercoating in a couple spots. Goal of the car is street/strip but more street. Right...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

I bought a set of amd repop inner wheel houses, then widened about 2.5" to take to the frame rail. Nasty cutting out all the old crap and bad welding. Once everything was welded up I seem sealed in many of factory locations. To fix that stupi spare tire section bought a new trunk pan. I...

70' Duster rear end, trans upgrades

Finally getting a little closer, should have been done months ago. Ditched the 727, 8-3/4 combo for a QuickTime scatter shield, Sfi flywheel and Ram clutch. Rebuilt an older 4 speed I had laying around as well. Big change was rear section of the car. It had a ugly tub job at some point, a...

Looking for help with a new rearend.

Just as an FYI too. I get quite a few things from quickperformance.com in regards to back braces and misc stuff. Cass(DoctorDiff) is great too. I buy a lot of his axles plus he can get you anything Strange related as well. If you're going to run a heavy hp car consider going to an 3.25...

Looking for help with a new rearend.

Cope, Usually I mock up everything under the car at ride height, set pinion at 1-2* down with the left upper bar. Many will start with 4 bars all equal length then weld the brackets where the are happy with everything aligning. This gives you the same opportunity to make sure you have proper...

    Enclosed Car Trailer Buying Help!

I bought a 28ft Vintage last year. Awesome trailer. The thing to think about down the road is resale, more people in 5-10 years will buy a 24ft over a 20ft all day long. And as many have said the extra room is nice. I bought mine through Dan Fletcher the stock/super stock guy. Just a...
