Santa brought me the Ron Francis XP-777

I put mine under the passenger dash behind the glove box. But I don’t have a heater and the battery is in the trunk... I also moved the starter relay and voltage regulator to the passenger kick panel, and ran my headlight and elec fan wiring under the fender to clean up the engine bay...

    Thoughts on weatherpack connectors.

I used a bunch of weather pack stuff with my rewire. Great stuff, I really like them, use them all over the place now. Once you get into it you'll be really happy with them. As far as "original circuit board" do you mean the factory fuse panel? If you're spending the coin on a nice set up...

    Ron Francis install question

yeah, splice, or a 2nd wire… You need power at both terminals on the factory switch, RUN and START. I was the same when I installed mine, followed inst to the "t" and was lost for a bit… JOE

    Ron Francis install question

as usual 67dart273 is 100% correct. The ron francis kit doesn't account for the factory ign switch, they want you to use "their" GM switch. run a short jumper from the "IGN 1" to the "IGN 2" switch with good gauge wire, and you'll be good.. JOE

    Headlight Relay Yes No

relays will help with load, as stated, and also provide much brighter headlights... a must for a driver or cruiser in my opinion. I installed 2, (because I did it after the bright switch), one for low/high beams. Its a simple mod if you're doing the whole car, and well worth it... JOE

How to start car with no key?

If you got your spark figured awesome. Remember with points if you are not seeing a spark at the gap make sure your condenser wire isn't too close to the back of the points and "stealing the spark" there... Good luck, get a charge on that battery and let us know. Joe

The directions are great for the kit I have, all wires are labeled, there is a big diagram of the entire car, and the "bags" of circuit specific wires have a detailed description/diagram for every wire. I think it is a nicer kit than my buddies painless stuff, but thats just me. I am also...
