Lots of info there. It has a stock flywheel heavy. Car is built for autox at this point I'm going to work the tune as I know there are some issues.

380 hp magnum, 4 spd , 3.08 rear. Vac 750 .

I know there is a problem with the tune. Carb needs cleaning and tuning. So I will start there. Thanks

I may be wrong but To be honest now I'm not sure there was a close ratio in 66, 67.

I have an early 66 to 67 4 spd I was wondering how I can tell what ratio trans it is. I'm running a 3.08 rear so it tends to buck in 1st and 2nd at low speeds.

I now have fourth working fine the stop was turned in to much clutch works fine I just wasn't sure. Thanks for all the input.

I can get used to it. I am having trouble getting into fourth. Not sure if I need to double check the shift linkage or not.

I just replaced clutch with new Mcleod diaphragm setup after adjustment with near inch freeplay throw out bearing has about 1/8 inch gap but the clutch release is still near the top. Just wondering why I cant get it lower.

Yes the hole and ball stud are ok it was the orientation of the bracket and the terrible over welding that was done. I now know how to attach it. Thanks

When I get the time to have the car down I will do it right with correct sheet metal and trans. I'm aware of the tail shafts. As I said my shifter is mounted on the forward B body location. I was just curious if anyone had done this.

I'm not sure if I made it clear. Its a B body trans In a 68 A body No a body tunnel, shifter is forward but the handle has been cut and rewelded to pull back toward the driver. I was going to replace with a proper a body tail shaft and trans tunnel hump but I don't have the down time till after...
