    sounds like the starter has had it .....but i would check the ring gear...didnt say if it is auto or man anyway look in the starter hole at the teeth on the flywheel or torque convertor to see if they are ground down or chiped off....your going to need to turn the motor over with a wrinch and...

    you need to drop the pan ,to clean out the trash .....a oil filter change will not catch the trash....it will go threw the pump first...........you also need to check for bent valves ....try the above.....pull the valve covers and look for bent push rods ...good luck..

    ignition feed will come threw the bulk head connecter....iam not shure what one it is on 67 threw 69 cuda..........maybe someone will chime in.....but if not you could follow the wires from the balist resister to the b head connecter .....

    does it do it at idle? a burned exhaust valve can cause a exhaust backfire.........if so you can pull one plug wires at a time intell you find the cylinder or cylinders that are missing.......also did you check to see if the cap is cracked............others place of ele concern would be,bulk...

    iam not shure what azz means ,if it mean bad(not good) or it mean good i would still check the pv........... also you may try more timing,says 36+ (i run 38 but dont have e heads)holley are not all ways a bolt on carb... you may have to drill holes in the prim butterflys or ajust the sec...

    your not going to have both maf ,map if, it run better with the maf dis connected its most likley the maf ............that the way we use to check them back then..........if its a hot wire...should be ...you could try cleaning it with a q tip and rubbing al...your prob running a k@n air cleaner...

    is this 90 % fitting coming out of the t body boot,or,intake manifold.........any vacuum leak will cause a prob in closed loop......thought you said you sprayed carb cleaner around.?.............need more info on the 90 that is not connected..good luck
