    Stacking aluminum lowering block?

If you do a google search you will see guys who run 7s/8s in the qtr. on leaf springs with steel lowering blocks, a couple had blocks as much as 4". Opinions are kind of like the whole wheel spacer thing and you will see those guys running them as well at those times. I used these LOWERING...

    USCT inboard kit question

Me too!, it would probably be down another 1.5 inches if I had the room in the wheel tub. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the install but I moved my rear end back 1.5 inches which moved the leave springs mounting points back. To compensate we welded some small plates to level the frame...

    USCT inboard kit question

Just a heads up I bought those same sliders at first and the bushings for the rear spring eye were like socks on a rooster. After some debate I bought the caltracs and they were a much better quality part, fit perfectly and an all around beefier part. I'm sure you can make them work but I wanted...

    USCT inboard kit question

Not at all lol, But it's really not that bad, the sliders make it a lot easier. I just throw jack stands under the subframe connectors, take out the rear spring eye bolts from the sliders, take out the lower shock bolts and lower it down, I have it down pretty good now. Whenever somebody asks...

    USCT inboard kit question

That is super trick with putting them into the frame rail. I was going to go that route myslef but I dont have enough wheel tub to lower the car any more with a 30" tall tire. Mine is mini tubbed but I regret not cutting the entire stock wheel tub out and going with aftermarket tubs, would have...

    USCT inboard kit question

As @72bluNblu said they work great. I see quite a few street miles with full caltrac setup, inboarded springs, viking double adjustable shocks and 295 65 15 et street R's the car drives way better than stock and handles pretty dam well. A buddy got this pic down at rodrun last year in long...

    USCT inboard kit question

Not sure if you are too far into this to consider these but they make a big difference in freeing up the rear suspension. SPRING SLIDERS for Calvert Springs (SL-300CR ) – Calvert Racing, Inc.

Subframe connectors for a driver/cruiser, necessary to weld to floor?

Fwiw I really like the hotchkiss subframe connectors although they are normally a bit expensive (I got them on a clearance sale a while ago) compared to making them yourself. They are great for someone who doesn't have the desire (like me/ limited time and lazy lol) to fab their own, they fit...

    Stick car suspension set up

The R is a much better tire especially for a stick car. That's the thing about running a stick car with drag raidals is you cannot afford to have one component that may be a weak link or it will bite you in the ***. I like your idea of going to a hoosier quick time pro, my thought is you don't...

    help with lowering blocks

There are guys running 8s in the quarter mile with three (they are stackable) 1/2 Calvert racing lowering blocks so I think you will be fine. That is the most they recommend and its best to tack weld them if you use that many and are racing.

    Which steering box?

As Scody21 said above I am very satisfied with my pst 16:1 box if in fact a manual gearbox is what you want. I'm not sure if you are looking for power or manual lol.

my PST Strud rod Bushing Fell off the car! *PICS*

This is funny stuff!,as for the bushings install them according to the directions,as old man and others have said it depends on the design of them.On my 71 duster I have a later spool mount k-frame with the correct strut rods and the moog bushings are installed correctly with the washers "cup"...

    2" drop leaf springs.

I use a local shop around here that is equipped to arc and de-arc springs, its much ceaper and you have a starting place vs. the old bolt on a new part and not be happy. But to answer your question I havent tried those springs,in the past Ive always seemed to end up with the car sitting higher...
