    A833 ID

Dana 60, Eaton helical locker, so it won't be the rear end that ever breaks. I thought I was a pretty knowegable Mopar guy, and I am ashamed to admit that I have never heard of anything other than 18 and 23 spline in the A833.

    A833 ID

Can any of you younger folks read (or good guess) the year on this A833 tag? Buggers screwed right into it! There aren't any stamped '63 for the '64 model year release are there?

    Clutch/Flywheel Questions

I already have a brand new Lakewood bellhousing. I think it is pretty flexible, but I would like a light weight solution for the flywheel clutch since I will have a light((ish) car with 4.10:1 gears.

    Clutch/Flywheel Questions

I an finishing a 440 build, at least 500 on motor, maybe 150 shot, at least 600 lb/ft, 1969 Dart, will probably end up at about 3,300lbs. Have a Lakewood Scatter shield, 23 spline A833, Dana 60, 4.10 gears with True Track locker. From what I understand, I can use a 130 or 142 tooth flywheel, but...

    Flywheel/Clutch ideas

The question is, 130 or 143 tooth? Lakewood says either one.

    Faceplated 833 4 Speed

This is mostly irrelevant to the topic, but I have an NV4500 in my '95 Dodge W250, making rowdy power in the Cummins, can do a few no lift speed shifts before the pressure plate begs for mercy trying to clamp down 40 psi of boost, broke two Dana 70's until I stuck in a Detroit Locker... Not the...

    Console question

I have a 1969 Dart GT automatic console car. Can I use a 4 speed plate on it and cut out the side for the hump? I have the 4 speed hump to weld in.

    Flywheel/Clutch ideas

"Oh man...this isn't going to go well....." Is this a hornets nest question? Not trying to stir anything up, just looking for what has worked for others with a Big Block and A body.

    Flywheel/Clutch ideas

Had a 440 with 23 spline A833 and a Lakewood scatter shield going in my '69 Dart. Engine will have probably less than 600HP to the wheels and will be a mostly hot street, occasional strip car. What size flywheel should I get, and how much clutch will I need to close to 600 lb/ft torque?

Cheapest way to get a bellhousing on a 440 Dart

That is what I was looking for, THANKS!!! I plan on running a steel flywheel so I am not too worried about my feet getting separated from my ankles... :)

Cheapest way to get a bellhousing on a 440 Dart

Yea, those are the main reasons I would make my own external hydraulic setup. Going to run the Pro Parts, Bagshaw McCandless 2" partial fenderwells also.

Cheapest way to get a bellhousing on a 440 Dart

What I guess I mean to ask is, will any big block bell housing physically fit?

Cheapest way to get a bellhousing on a 440 Dart

If I don't care about originality, what is the cheapest way to get my A833 mounted behind the 440 in my '69 Dart? I could fab up a hydraulic setup like the one on my 1st Gen Dodge pretty easily if the mechanical linkage is the issue... It's crazy what people want for an original, and the SFI...

    I'm interested. Is it black?

    4 Speed Console Base

Same other than the cutout? I would be willing to cut my AT console base if that is the only difference... Thanks for the great picture!

    4 Speed Console Base

I am converting my 1969 Dart auto console car to 4 speed. Is the console base the same between the two? Do I just need the top parts?

    Clutch/Brake pedal score, or dud

I plan on keeping it and handing it down to my son when I shuffle my mortal coils. Will need to cut down the messed up pedal and find the right pad at least.

    Clutch/Brake pedal score, or dud

At least I have the right clutch pedal. Might be hard to find the manual brake pedal.
