Seems we are all in the same boat as I'm doing the same thing except I didn't,t take mine apart and have no idea how to put it back together without some visual aid.If four pics were posted here ,one from the front one for each side and one from the rear I think it will help alot more ppl.

lol I was going to say BFH but anyways.Isn't there a little hole in the center of the handle to put a small object like a pick into to slide the locker out if the door.Maybe that will open it up.

get yourself a yearone catalog for mopars and it will have all the pictures and names of the parts.Even if you don't buy from them atleast you will have the names to all the parts.I believe you could build a car out of the catalog.

Where is it located as some might be close to it.BTW it looks good.My 06 charger is a daytona version and it has the stitching in the seats and shifter,really looks good combined like your doing.

Good point I forgot about that little bit of info.My windshield was out anyways so it wasnt as bad getting the dash out.I have heard of at least one other getting the dash out without removing the windshield,looks like if it were possible you would need a long wrench and a small hand to reach...

What are you working on?My 70 dart the heater control has 2 nuts on each side of the inside holding the bazel on.the dash pad is easier to take off with the dash pulled out,it has about 6 or so nuts underneath in the center of the pad,very hard to get to.

Thanks the info I found said they switched in 72 with a radio cassette unit in one.So it was available in 72,I tell ya that is one crazy looking device.I don't think it works tho.maybe just not hooked up as the radio wasn't being used.

Just got my cuda last week it's a numbers matching 72 not original color tho its gy9 tawny gold met.It has the r26 radio option which is the am radio with cassette.Well from what I've read the console mount was a 71 option only,the thing is this car was biult in 11-71 and sold or picked up 12-71...

The top of the dash between the pad and windshield was going to be semi-gloss.The doors are 4-5" metal at the top and the dash will be just the face and the lower section.Do you think the glare will be bad there?

Ok,so I'm getting close to painting my dash and upper door panels body color(hemi orange).I'm going to paint the dash upper from the pad to windshield black to flow with the pillar covers and not have to worry about repainting if I went with color on top.And I'm wandering what I should use on...
