I used enamel reducer, doesn't strip the paint but it removes all the dirt and grease from what you're painting. I did the cluster in my dart then painted it black and did all the letters in silver.

Good One ..might have to do that. Man I was looking at the harness and there just is no connectors anywere near the fuse box. I don't exactly know what they did but somethings not right. I would say that they have cut it out for some reason. I know that they cut the connectors out for the rear...

Yeah, I'm grounded good... I just can't find the crazy connector for the horn relay under the dash. Someone before me has been under the dash messing around and I don't have a clue what all they did. Sure don't want to have to buy a new under the dash harness. What gets me is that everything...

Thanks 416stroker... at least I know where to look now not sure if they cut anything out but one thing for sure I couldn't see anything that looked like a connector by the fuse box. I'll look a little harder !! Thank You...... :salute:

Man, I guess I didn't know what the hell I was getting into with this thing ..... I have worked on the wiper linkage, gas gauge ( thanks to everyone who has given me advice). The crazy horn hasn't worked since I have had the car so I figured I would fix it while I'm at it....RIGHT !! No wires...

I have since gotten into a real mess, I was working on the wiper linkage this afternoon and the new SUN amp gauge. Put the linkage all back together , put the amp gauge in the housing under the dash, still have the dash cluster out of the car. I put the battery cable back on and it sparks...

Well got the cluster panel out yesterday , I'm checking the gas gauge first thing. I'm metering the gauge and get a full reading on resistance, I take it that the gauge is OK. Went from the connector ( which connects to the pins) , showing in my diagram Dark Blue wire that goes to the tank...

I decided with the price of gas I would do some work to my dash on the old swinger. My wiper motor linkage came off ,light have not worked for awhile and the gas gauge quit working. Anyway took the dash pad off, removed the front bench seat...so I can get my big A$$ in there. Radio delete is...

Had mine done about 4 years ago.... they do excellent work about $400 with shipping I think. They replaced the pad and matched the color perfect. Blue pad...... Also sent some touchup dye ...if you need it.
