hey y'all. some time ago I started a thread on an 26" aluminum rad and 7 blade fan w. clutch (thanks ed72demon!) that I was putting in my 72 Duster. Made the cut to the core support for it to fit and now I need a shroud. I remember a post about watching out for the repops sagging into the fan...

i use 30% antifreeze and a bottle of Prestone anti-rust & water pump lubricant and a bottle of Water Wetter.

cool! Heater cores are always a PITA! Even when they're easy they ain't easy...

we used to take a towel and try to stop the fan with it at idle. A good clutch will just kick the towel away, a bad one will stop turning (I know, I know, old school stuff but that's how I learned).

I always drill a small hole in the t-stat, have been doing it since my old man showed me that when I was a kid. Can I verify that it helps? no. But it don't seem to hurt anything and if it does help thats great because it costs $0 to do it. I would be searching for a shroud and a 5 blade fan...
