Not too happy with my crankshaft pulley from March. Its the 5 1/4 size and was great in my worn out old motor but got a fresh 340 in now and hate to see the temp gauge even hit 200...175 the hottest its been so far.

For like $100 I could get a different size pulley but what about running a electric water pump? If it last at least 24 months of everyday use I be happy with it--if it kept the temps cool too. You can even run the pump for a minute after shutting the motor off.

a buddy of mine runs an electric pump on a late model turbo'ed Phord Mustank (it's actually a nice car) and he drives the car on the street quite often. He sez he haven't had any problems with overheating or anything else. He did go to a higher output alternator due to the draw of all of his stuff (stereo, elect. fuel pump, water pump, computer, F.I.)

Don't forget to check out one of the Mezziere ones...I run one of theirs on my 440 RB and it is cool...after I shut the engine down I continue to let it run along with HHR fan to lower the temp back down...look for highest gpm with lowest amp draw...I stepped up to a 78 amp alternator and it keeps the battery charged...

Do you have any pics of the install with the pump & radiator/fan? Thanks!
