Thanks Rbob ! 1 pic is worth a thousand words. As I look at your 2nd picture,what I have is the cable stops just as it comes out of the Transmission cross member and hooks into an adjustable bracket. This bracket holds a cable that loops between the 2 rear emergency/parking brake cables that...

It is a '65 Barracuda, the cable comes out of the transmission cross member on the drivers side, connects to the "Y" cable connector (don't know what you call it) and it angles over right where the sub frame connector runs up to the transmission cross member. Thanks for the info and pic. !

I started installing connectors and want to do it right. Emergency Brake Cables run into them and wonder if there is a better route ? Or weld tubing so they will run through them, but the adjuster hits right into the Drivers side connector. Anyone have thoughts on this ? Thanks.

I bought a front Hellwig Sway Bar for my Daughters '65 Barracuda part # 55914 and my end links hit the Aftermarket Adjustable Strut Rods I have already installed on her car. ( bought them from "Ironside" a member here, builds Quality stuff !) I see where if I had stock strut rods they would fit...

I put Sway Bars on everything I own. You will not believe how well it will drive afterwards. DO IT ! LOL ! Tim :thumrigh:

HemiDenny has the right idea. Check to see if your Shakels are too tight, they do need to "Swivel" forward and backward. Could your Leaf springs be too long ? When you re-torqued the "U" bolts 68origional did it help ?! The suspence is killing US ! (or just me ) Let us know. Thanks, Tim :thumleft:
