    Higher octane just prevents ping. If your compression is stock and your timing is set correctly you can easily run 87. Octane ratings, I believe, just detonates at different temperatures.

    It is non-magnetic. It settled in the bottom of the pan, as oil was clear agian when I checked.

    I beleive he installed the intake in June of '09 and was never able to get it running after that. I didn't check it with a magnet but will go out and check it now. It appears to be aluminium. Shiney silver, turned the oil grey.

    which to stroke 360 or 318

    Anyone have any opinions on the 318 stroker built by Car Craft March 2010. They had $5000 into it. 402ci Article states they are advantages to building 318 instead of 360. Anyone read this and have opinions?
