    Power Brake Light Switch

Is there such a thing as a different switch for power brakes. The mechanic converting my car to power discs said the old switch was to short for the new power set up.

    Stripped the Bolt Head

I'm removing all of the old brake hardware from the 8 1/4 I picked up and while trying to remove one of the bolts from the wheel cylinder I stripped the ridges off the bolt head. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

I picked up an 8 1/4 rear from a junkyard this weekend. I've gotten the drum off of one side but after an hour of working the other with a hammer and chisel it remains frozen. Any suggestions or tricks?

    Brake Lines

I was talking to my mechanic today about mounting the calipers on the rear of the spindle and he had a question. He says the mounting holes for the calipers are on the front of the spindle. Does he need to reverse the spindles.....left to right?

    Master Cylinder Suggestion

I just sent off my brake booster to have it rebuilt and thought I'd put a new master cylinder on it. It looks to be a Midland Ross unit off of an early 70's Dart. I'm upgrading my brakes to disc/bbp of of a 75 Dart. I have no idea what master cylinder I should replace the old one with. This is...

    Do Proportioning Valves Wear Out?

Thanks Dodge 33! I'm looking at the valve that came out of the 75 Dart and it's identical to the valves in the pictures...albeit dirtier. The line ports are the same, mounting bracket, etc.. I don't see any difference, unless the internals are different.

    Do Proportioning Valves Wear Out?

Okay.....this has become one of the more frustrating sourcing situations I've had since owning the 69. Can someone tell me the difference in the two proportioning valves below please. InLine is telling me the valve doesn't fit the 75 Dart brakes, while Classic Industries says theirs does. I...

    Brake/Front End Question

Okay, I just got off the phone with PST and they didn't have an answer...... I'm converting my front brakes from sbp/drum to bbp/disc. I pulled the upper control arm and spindle off of a 75 Dart. PST offers the super front end kits designed for specific cars. In my case it's for a 69...
