Interesting scenario. All you would hafta do is drill out the chrome base to match. Cutting the holes thru the hood would really be a challenge. They do make the power bulge hood in fiberglass....hmmmmm. Would be a nitemare to keep the rain out though.

Been running a Holley Black Pump for 5 years with no problems. Still can't believe it. And that's with E85 occasionally.

They're marketing inline Fuel Pumps for racing and Hi perf use. Having had a coupla fuel pumps crap out at the Races, I cant imagine dropping a fuel tank to remove an inline Fuel pump when I can just unbolt my external in half the time. Plus the cost of the internals/tank is not competitive...

They have a lousy search engine. How did u find the straps and sending unit? Found the tank after long search. Did the tank come with the O ring or didcha hafta buy separately?

Why isnt 6 a gallon reasonable? Race Gas is 9+ a gallon. Whoa, wait a minuto...the internet sez the average price of E85 in Idaho is $3.17. You gotta understand, Detroit has been manufacturing E85 vehicles and they need to fill up. The stuff is out there cheaper, you're just not looking hard...

You're no dummy...but you can still order E85 in bulk. The nightmares of maintaining an Alcohol car vs the availability of E85...I'll still take the E85. You just need to work harder to find a supplier. Talk to the Guys at the Race Track. They're running it, why can't you?

Forget alcohol, you're going from baby steps to Flying. E85 is the ticket for your Car. It will pick up nicely and be Super Consistent. You can send your Carb off to Quick Fuel and they will adapt it for E85 use. Find your local Racers who are using it and glean info off them. Or ask FABO...

Many years ago, I wrote Year One and suggested that they start selling A Body Fuel Sending Units with the 3/8" pickup (instead of the measely 5/16). 6 months later, they had them for sale. They also offer the 1/2" for all out race. :burnout: You should never put a 5/16 pickup in your Mopar...
