I bought a full set of pre-bent (use that term loosely) brake lines for my '65 Barracuda. I had to adjust every one of them to fit right, even the short little DS front one was too tight. I also bought a junction block from them for converting to a dual master cylinder. What a poorly designed...
I am not sure what they are trying to accomplish with the first picture. It still requires a 90 degree bend at the last minute & does not mount or look like the original plus they have added an extra hole that needs to be plugged. it looks worse. I have drawn up a design based on the original &...
I bought a brand new set for my '65 Barracuda from Inline Tube along with a new junction block for converting to a dual reservoir master cylinder. They are nice looking lines but the junction block is a bad design that does not match up to the pre-bent brake lines & they blew me off when I sent...
I am not trying to bust balls but this same topic is talked about a few threads down. Hope it helps.

I took the "saddle" off of my floor jack, put the pushrod through the hole, slid a long screw driver through the pushrod hole under the jack, then raised the jack & it popped right out. Super easy. PM me if you need a better explanation.
This write up shows 11.75" rotors with 15" rims on it & it looks like there is no way 14" rims will fit. I went with 10" rotors so that I could use my Ralley rims, they are my favorite rims of all time.

I am getting ready to start disassembling the front end on my '65 Barracuda. I am swapping in the '73-'76 disc brake setup and adding an Addco front sway bar. I see all kinds of threads & debates on here regarding where to mount the calipers & which calipers to use. Has anyone done this swap &...
You are strictly talking about the bolt pattern here correct? I can not see how it would affect cooling in any way, shape or form. A 14" SBP rim is the same 14" as a 14" LBP rim. The only thing the bolt pattern affects is how far apart the lugs are spaced. The LBP has the lugs spaced an extra...
I am doing the '73-'76 brake swap onto my '65 Barracuda. I have purchased anything new that I can. The donor that I got my stuff from was a '72 Dart that someone else had started putting the '73-'76 setup on. Nice thing was that everything was hand tightened & came off in no time, bad thing was...
I was under the impression that it was a bad idea to move the caliper to the back. The reasoning I have always heard was that it was designed to be towards the front for a reason. I only ask because I am getting ready to start this swap onto my '65 Barracuda along with adding a front sway bar...
I thought I read somewhere about re-drilling the rotors to the small bolt pattern. That was what I was hoping to do if I go with Scarebird.
Parts are parts as far as I am concerned. The calipers & rotors will be hidden under my rims & it is not like they have GM engraved in big letters on them...
How do I know if these are the newer style wheel cylinders? 1 of them looks new & has a part # on it but the 3 attached below look older. Does anyone know if these are safe to use for the master swap or do they need to be replaced? Thanks.
Has anyone upgraded from the single reservoir master to a dual res. master on an early model A-body? I have a '65 Barracuda & I just got a kit off ebay with the new master, fitting kit & an adjustable proportioning valve. I am having some trouble following the instructions & was looking for some...
Can anyone tell me what the differences between the $105 kit & the $495 "wheel" kit are at Scarebird? When I send them questions they only answer part of them. I am starting to lose confidence in even using them if I can't get a straight answer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Can we add a power booster with the scarebird setup? It seems like it would not be a problem but I am not an expert.
Also, the Hemmings article from February recommended buying adjustable upper control arms because of "bump" steer with the '73-76 uppers. I don't see anyone mentioning this in...
Are there any issues with adding an aftermarket sway bar with the scarebird setup? I have a '65 Barracuda & I want to switch over to disc brakes so I am trying to compare prices & any pros or cons before I make my decision. I have 14" sbp Rally rims on the car already so it would not be an...
I hope you do not mind me asking but where do you have access to all these A-bodies? I see that you live in NC. I live in Huntersville, NC & recently bought a '65 Barracuda. I am hunting all kinds of parts including the disc brake swap. Thanks.
