    Clutch fan radiator clearance worries

Didn't have a clutch on it before, the fan bolts to the back of clutch. It would be the front edge of clutch that would hit.

    Clutch fan radiator clearance worries

Car was running warm last summer so I bought a new thermal clutch and fan. Went to put it on yesterday and only had 1/4" clearance between front of clutch and radiator. Is it supposed to be this close? Is this too close or does it need to be that close, or did I get the wrong clutch? It's a...

Thanks... I have already picked up a hi flow t stat and tested it. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's not original rad. yes 440 not original. radiator #'s 2998 9 65 and under that 59538. Brass rad seems to be in good shape no leaks.

Ready to buy an Aluminum Radiator

Just wondering about tank placement. Seems that the side tank (crossflow) radiators are cheaper. Does this mean they are not as good?

I got an 18" metal clutch fan and was going to put a shroud on it. Looking at summit they have 2 bb fan shrouds, one with a 16" fan opening and one with...

    ccegr help

Changing the radiator in 74' /6 225. the coolant controlled exhaust gas recirculation valve (ccegr) broke off trying to get out of old radiator. The hole where it goes into rad has some type of plug in it. Wouldn't think you want coolant going into vac system. Problem is the new rad the hole is...
