    door mechanism (rotor)

1966 Dart convertible. Having trouble with the doors. Seems the star wheel on the rotors are worn out or have a flat spot. Doors close good every second or third try. If you manually turn the rotor before closing, it works good more or less. I have adjusted the crap out of the doors and the...

    67 antenna help

I tried the repop for my 66 dart because I had all the hardware and chrome but the cable also had been cut. I couldn't find the cable only and wound up buying a whole new assembly. Laysons was awesome. Ricks a great guy to deal with, but they are pricey. Around $160.00 for the whole thing

Thanks Kurt. Column just sitting for moving around purposes. Speaking of which, the rubber collar where the column bolts up under the dash. Don't have it, can't find a repop. Any thoughts? I was thinking rubber roofing with adhesive backing? Bicycle inner tube??

    What the f#@& ???????

Thanks, but I'm tending to believe the buffer heated it and they just put too much pressure. It's a b%#ch, but we're getting it to squeeze in. Just aggravates the hell out of me when you pay someone to do something and this stuff happens.

    headlight bezel nylon grommets

I've searched all the popular sites, RT, Mr. G's etc. I'm looking for the right nylon grommet that holds the headlight bezels in place. Doesn't have to be the correct one, just needs to work. 1966 Dodge Dart convertible. Thanks.

    Painting Engine

I want to re paint this engine before I put it in, the Chrysler red is shabby looking. Engine has only run on a stand. How should I prep the existing paint? Scotch brite, acetone, tack cloth then spray it? Can I use adhesion promoter? Is there a hi temp adhesion promoter? Thanks! Jim

    vent window

I think I got them from classic industries. Just not as solid as original.

    vent window

They can be a pain. I changed mine when the whole assembly was out. I think you need to pull the frame out. After that,Take the glass out. There is a little roll pin in the bottom that acts as a stop, pull that, unscrew the pivot at the top and slide the glass out. after you get the old one out...

    Molding clips

I've only had good luck with them. There's a member on here from laysons, I think it's Dan. He has been very helpful. Only problem is their website is tough to navigate

    B body question

I've put this on the B body forum, but I'm sure someone here will have the answer. A friend of mine is putting together a 70 Coronet, he's looking for the plastic channel guides for the windows. They attach to the back part of the glass and ride in the channel. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Jim
