Can anyone tell me if the top fender trim and top door trim pieces the same for a hard top and a convertible?

The hardtop and the convertible share the front fender and door trim if they are both GT's. where it changes is right after the quarter window straight piece going into the cast pieces. That's where you get the cast convertible transition piece to the convertible top SS trim or the cast piece that turns it upwards for the hardtop GT trim. (should be 7s )on your picture where all the changes occur.

The upper quarter panel moulding is a two section piece on verts compare to hardtops.

You have the cast spear on the fender, the aluminum piece to the door, the door trim piece, the rear quarter piece and then the transition piece for the convertibles. the hardtop goes the same until it hits the transition molding . then it changes to the cast piece that turns the moldings up the window on a hardtop. I'm using all hardtop pieces on the drivers side and made no alterations to get them to fit. just slapped on the transition molding and went from there fit perfectly. (looked nasty as heck but a couple days straightening and buffing should cure that)

here's a youtube shot (a little blurry but you can see @ 20 sec ) that the piece is the same as the convertible piece.
