    Where do I look now

I remember at one time he said his budget was 25k. I put an ad on hispost for a 383 dart that was restored 10 years ago and garage kept. It was around 22-25k. Did he ever call, look at it? I seriously doubt it. It was in North Texas if I remember

    Guess where I went today

Nice shooting. Due to recent events, you might want to start learning how to reload ammo and stock up. Prices have already gone up and it will not improve any time soon

    Day at the pistol range

Yeah I having been feeling the itch to get back on the range. Just reloaded up another batch of 45lc. Looking at a few different scopes and different weight bullets with a higher ballistic coefficient to try and stretch out my 30-06 to a 1000 yd. There s finally a range under an hr drive away...

How Does Your Animal Show Affection?

Garfield meows non stop while I try to sleep till I reach out as far as I can while still lying down to pet him, then he’ll pull away and scratch me. Dewey will meow nonstop when he knows I come home and am not in the bedroom, i’ll enter the room then he’ll run away. Then won’t leave me alone...

Do NOT stand in front of this man when he's...............

The tumble can vary. There are rifled slug barrels and rifled slugs for smooth bore barrels. Range is still limited compared to any rifle but you get the idea.

Many times have I visited the great lakes. They really are inland oceans. Over a 1000 ft deep, so damn cold in the summer you can get hypothermia. Superior at least. Seen some pretty good waves on Superior and the northern shore of Lake Michigan near Gladstone and Escanaba.

Who else loves old warbirds? Post here.

I've been working on jets for 17 years and still get a kick of the old warbirds. I had two great aunts who were actuall rosies and built the B-25's in WW2, and my grandpa's cousin was a pilot attached to the RAF and flew a spitfire

    737 MAX CRASH

Lack of training on the flight crew could be an issue on such a new aircraft. I worked on 737's for 12 years. Started on the 737-200 classics and yes they had several service bulletins on yhe rudder. 737-400's had an improved rudder pcu and more advanced flight management computer. 737-NG...

So my 340 turned out to be.......

Misrepresentation is never fun. Reminds me of when I went to look at a dodge dart gt listed as a 2 door on craigslist and by the time I got there it magically grew 2 extra doors! Not only was I mad as hell for wasting a day but the expense of gas and renting a car dolly. Cam specs are very...

    Is Hotrodding dead?

Money is a main issue, how many people do you know that can just write a check for 15k or more for an old restored hot rod but they can finance a new hemi challenger. Cars are being crushed as fast as people can haul them across a scale, not everyone has a way to store and work on old cars and...

    Upgrading Rear End

You can get new shock pads for 100.00 from mancini racing. The slotting is minimal, only a quarter of an inch for and aft. Just remember when grinding or drilling to go slow and keep the bits cool in oil or they will be dull in seconds.

    Upgrading Rear End

You'll need 3in u-bolts, you can slot the holes on the shock mount pads to accept the larger u-bolts. Are leaf springs sagging? If so they need to be replaced. Install new axle and have weight on wheels, install yoke all the way, pull yoke out 1.25 inch, measure center to center of...

I need advice - problem with bodyshop

I spent 1500.00 in metal(material+bulk shipping), found a body shop at 40 an hr. When the car got in and evaluated it was estimated for 40hrs to replace two quarters, two rockers, both front floor boards, and repair the fwd frame rails. Ended up at 55 hrs and understandably so due to the rust...
