    My PBR's (yes i'm a cheap SOB) had the same problem on our J-Heads.....had them milled to clear. PBR's site actually claims they won't fit TA or AAR heads :banghead: Our 408 only has run-in time on the stand and all is good.....we will see down the road :glasses7: Rickster

    Was running 20/50 VR1 in our 408 and oil pressure was at 75# idling.....and up to 100#......took Brian's advice, switched to 10/30 VR1 and now it idles at 65# and up to 85# once warmed up......the biggest noticeable change was no rattling upon cold start-up and instant oil pressure.....Thanks...

    You can get the Icon's in .040 over off the shelf.......the flat-tops have a 5cc relief and according to your specs will end up with a static CR of approx. 11.7......the closest dish piston they offer takes you lower the other way......you could use the flat-tops, but you would need a .082 head...

    I had it locked out for the start up only.....started at 22* and once broke-in moved it up to 30* and programmed in a 10* start retard in the MSD ECurve Dizzy.......Once in the car I will start to play with either a mech or vac curve or possibly a combination of both.....these ECurve Dizzzy's...

    Yep....fired up the 408 today on the test stand I built and it runs great....no leaks, fairly aggressive idle and snappy as all get-out....oh yeah love the tunnel ram and 500 avs's Now....after a good 20 minute run-in @ 2000 rpm and a few heat cycles....i ck'd cranking compression and all...
