    Sweet Tea

Why in the world would you buy a tea maker if you can boil water? Two large tea bags hanging in a pitcher, add boiling water (tea pot w/whistle works well). Pour water into pitcher (make sure it is plastic, glass pitcher will shatter unless it is Pyrex or such). Add 3/4 to a cup of sugar in...

    Hypocrites......

Where I get confused with the whole thing is where does your own value system come from? What defines good or bad to you? Yourself? Kinda like making your own rules huh? When is enough enough? I always wondered that...

    Hypocrites......

You bring up good points. I'll be first to admit that I do not have all the answers. I am humble enough to admit that. That is why I go to church, Sunday school, and read what I can when I can to keep feeding my faith. The site I listed answers many of the questions you ask much better than I...

    Hypocrites......

One of the best reference sites that does cover a lot of issues for those that believe. Since it is written and maintained by humans, it does have flaws. However, well composed and a good reading and reference for any questions related to the topic of God and faith...

    Hypocrites......

I think you raise some good points, but let's look at it this way. (The numbers are based off the statements above). Giving the limited space, I tried to keep these simple and direct. 1. I'm a parent. As I parent, I try to teach my children the skills and attitudes to make it through life. I...

    Hurricane Sandy

Looks like a heavy rain maker for us here in NC. Stepped outside to a nice 10-20 mph breeze already with those tropical showers we get. Going to get some beach erosion I'm sure. Heading out to Raleigh for my daughters marching band competition. I'm afraid we are going to get quite wet, but...

    Is this your 68 barracuda?

I haven't heard from Jeff in a couple of years. I think when he finished his car, he kinda dropped off the everyday research thing. Of course, I wouldn't blame him, he put a lot of hours (and money) in the car in a fairly short amount of time. I sure referenced his site many times to get mine done.

    Need some help with baseballs!

Have you contacted your local little league? How about local batting cages? I figured they must have units they need to get rid of due to age, shape, or damage.

Where is the Gone Fishin' Barracuda?

Just curious if anyone knows what happened to the Gone Fishin' (1997 movie) Barracuda. I know it was on the backlot tour at Disney for several years, but the last time we went, it was gone and they had revamped the vehicles they kept there. Anyone in the Florida area or even worked for Disney...

    Ford 302 and mustang advice

Drive it as is! It will be pretty peppy even with the 2 barrel. Most will throw an edelbrock intake on it with a small holley 4-barrel. That is what this one I picked up for my daughter has. Give it a good tune up, convert it to electronic ignition, and enjoy!!!

    Starting a web page

Costs depends on how much you are going to put on it. Most of the time, your internet provider will give you a limited amount of space to post your site (as part of your package). If you want something basic, you can use a simple HTML editor such as Word to create the page. No reason to put a...

My Barracuda (yeah, same one I have now)... didn't stay white very long. This was in 1985. You can barely see my dad's 1967 Camaro Convertible covered beside it.

    Car models on aircleaners??

I built a model of my Barracuda when I was 16 to match my car. That was in 1985. I used to display it on the aircleaner just for the fun of showing off both cars. ANYWAYS, a couple years ago, I thought about someone accidently closing the hood on it and decided that it would be better to put...

Just got power back from Irene

I have people at work that still don't have power in New Bern, NC. Harker's Island, Stacy, Willisonton, Sea Level, Cedar Island, etc... many of them are still out. I just had my roofer put up some tar paper over the blank spots ($650) and provide an estimate for new shingles- ($9500)...

Who's in the path of Irene?

Well, we have survived! It was worse than I expected for a Cat 1 storm. We actually got a lot more damage to the house with this one than we have in the past 10 years living here. Luckily, today ended up as a nice summer sunny day. We lost power at 9pm Friday night. It was really windy...

    5.9 Earthquake In VA

We felt it in Havelock, NC. I was leaning on my desk and asked who was shaking my desk... saw the shades moving... people coming out of conference room saying..."do you feel that??" Wonderful part is that now the hurricane track is shown to make landfall right over my house!!! Wheee!!!

    IMPORTANT Poll - Please answer

Of course a combo of 67-68-69 Barracuda's maybe a notch, fastback, and convertible in different colors (with factory stripes)... To me, the placement of the art (on the back like a surf shirt), and a HIGH quality shirt is more important than the art. I hate buying a shirt with a cool...

Did you drive a a body to school?

Yes, same car that I'm restoring again now. Here is a picture in 1985. I was 16 and my dad and I fixed it up for me to drive. . Today, I'm restoring it again (now 42) and love it just as much as I did back then. Of course I'm taking it much farther then we did back then. Now I...

    Need aftermarket steering wheel/column pics

Keep in mind that smaller diameter wheels could make it difficult to see the gauges where you hands block the ones that are side by side. I found that out the hard way with a 13" wheel in my Barracuda (of course I have a stock dash setup). I went up to a 15" wheel, and the obstruction was gone...

    Subfreezing Humidity?

    Subfreezing Humidity?

To finish answering your question: Humidity is water vapor, or water in a gaseous form. This type of water does not have the capacity to freeze... There is an exception to that, wich is the process of deposition, but there are requirements that must be met for this to occur.

    Subfreezing Humidity?

You are really asking about relative humidity. Air at different temperatures becomes saturated with moisture at different rates. So, warm air is able to be saturated with more mosture before it condenses into clouds/rain.... Cold air cannot retain as much moisture, therefore, you will normally...
