It reffers to the shape of the portion of the wheel that connects the hub to the outer wheel. It's shape allows for different size calipers. A low pad design wood be for your stock or smaller brake setups. Weld does a nice job illustrating this on their website

    Weld draglite 10 lug

Smart, because almost anyone that owns one of these cars for any period of time ends up changing to the BBP, so all money spent prior is wasted, with a very small resale market.

8" wheel Measure for backspace. Error to having too much backspacing if in question, because you can always push it further out.

Should be able to drop the front with the T-bars easily. In the rear you can use a drop front hanger, an adjustable front hangar, lowering blocks or rear sliders. All will drop the rear. I would start with lowering blocks to get an idea of how much drop you need.

    Front Runners On Street Car

I run a 26x7.50 on 1 15" wheel. My car sits pretty low. I think a 27" would be fine. a 28"..IDK, seems like your stance would look like 4x4 with a tire that tall up front.

    Tire clearance

That's tight by ay standards, and autocross will exacerbate that lack of clearance. I would be much more confident being closer to the leaf than the well, especially the outer well. How much do you have to the outside? If it is substantially more, consider a spacer. Last, i'm a bit confused...

Agree on not mixing. That is bad news. Nothing wrong with bias tires. Both types have advantages and disadvantages.

    15 x 10 tire suggestions

10x7.5 with the springs relocated is common and pretty ideal. As far as tire selection I have run MT 28x12.50's on those wheels (Sportsman pro an Sportsman I) The latter of those two is a really outdated look. I used them around Y2K

    16” rims

I've run 16's before because I got a great deal on a set of wheels. The tire size you'll need for your combo is what it is. The wheel just dictates the hole in the tire and will get you the sidewall profile you want. Summit racing has a great filter for tire size. The rear is easy to figure...

26x9.5x14 QTP on 5.5” Rally Wheels

What rear suspension is under that yellow car? I've never seen a mopar leave like that.

x2 If you want a slick for the street, that is safe, run MT sportsman pro's.

26x9.5x14 QTP on 5.5” Rally Wheels

Will it be ok? Yes, but why not get the correct wheel to make it work correctly? Minimum, you want the wheel width to be equal to the tread width. Drag radials like a wide wheel, as close as you can get to the section width. I run a 13.1 section width tire on a 11.25" wheel. One thing to...

    Rocket Brand "Injector" Wheels

Honestly at this point, I can't see why anyone other than a 100% numbers matching restoration car would still be rolling on the 5x4" pattern.

Post your wheel and tire combos.

The 12" wheel will certainly fit, but keep in mind the tire will become very important. If they measure a tire on a 10" wheel and you mount it on a 12" wheel, it will measure wider than the advertised section width.

Time for new tires and rims for the 68 Dart

Go to summit racing and set the filter to 15" wheel, the width you want, and the desired backspacing and you'll see more wheels than you will know what to do with. "Measuring from the face of the drum to the edge of the spring is 6.25" What is the measurement from the face to the quarter...

Time for new tires and rims for the 68 Dart

YOu can get every offset / backspace known to man in 1/4" increments in a 15" wheel...IF...you have a 5x4.5 pattern. Mine are 11.25 wide and are 15's.
  27. roccodart440

Time for new tires and rims for the 68 Dart

That ruler shows 1.5" doesn't it? Why don't you do an offset hanger at this time? Anyhow, if you have 5.25 to the spring, aa 4.75BS plus a tire is going to be tight, and may require a spacer, but it's best to error to having too much backspacing as it is easily correctable.
