Two years ago I picked this up in LA & drove it to the the top of Nova Scotia,then back to Wi. Last year the wife & I drove it Fogo Island Newfoundland.I also use it as my daily driver in the summer.It still has points & drum brakes!

Would the 383-4 with the 3 speed in a 4 door have a floor shift like a road runner or would it be column mounted?

I have a '67 Coronet Deluxe that is radio delete,it has a black paper cover in place of the speaker and is retained by 4 nuts,the cover looks to be the same material that the glove box is made of.Also,it never had a hole for an antenna.

I agree with 4spd. I would also go with the brass.The ones on the rear of the block have gotten me in the past.

Maybe the stripe on this car was added at a later date? I would think it should have a 360 decal on the quarter panel. I can see a chrome 360 emblem on the front fender, I think that would be correct for a stripe delete car.

I think the 273 Commando was available in the '67 Valiant.Sometimes they were referred to as power pack engines in the FSM's.

The 390 horse motor in the '70 Corvette was the hydraulic lifter LS 5.They didn't have the LS 6 emissions certified in the Corvette in time for production,or something like that,so the Corvette didn't get the LS6 till '71.

A real 340 car from '72 would have the ignition box mounted in front of the washer resevior,not on the firewall like this one is.

I ordered an '09 six speed R/T,what a disappointment! Didn't even keep it for 500 miles,it was a nice car if you want comfort,but as far as a hotrod it was very uninspiring.Kinda like driving a Buick with loud mufflers!
