    Yes my builder just bought a high dollar smoke machine! So I'm waiting on him to get her with it and test it before we take it apart and after we hopefully fix it ! Then smoke it to confirm!

    That's what i was thinking from the start! But I will look into the other recommendation motor is in the car now. But it's easy enough to drop the pan! It's in an e body! So plenty of room!

    Anyone else run into a problem with rear seal leaking on a stroker eagle crank? I've tried two seals with same results! Hope I dont have to buy a different crank?

    Just took the oil pan off to clean it up and take a look inside. This is a 340x block that was in a car I bought recently. Is this a cast or steel?

    i would say iron heads tops you want to go is 9.5. lets see what others think. If I can remember correctly my engine builder may have told me that in the past!

    I think all oils are over priced! including rotella! I used to use rotella but changed when I heard that about less zinc. Again I don't know how true that is But the VR1 I buy from autozone is $6.15 a quart only about a $1.50 more then rotella. At 5 quarts That's $7.50 For piece of mind. ill...

    VR1 my engine builder told me to use , and that"s all he uses on all the engines he builds.I use it on my cars with and without roller cams. I heard "don't know if its true" that Rotella uses less zinc in their oil. which is not good for flat tappet cams.
