no the cast numbers on block date it as a march 4th 1975 production i always under stood that the stampeed numbers under cyl head were your specifications like bore for example over sized or undersized due to factory imperfections and tolerence stacking but either way guess it dont really matter...

i reassembling my 75' 360 my engine book (by don taylor) says i should have a woodruff key and i dont seem to remember or be able to find one? and to be completly honest i have no clue where it goes help please ty oh and is it even necessary

ya get what ya pay for! like everyone said ur pistons should be fine just clean everything up a few new bearings and rings and mild honing and you will be ok and you could do all that for less than that 400$ for those pistons, might need to get a book and ask a few questions maybe even borrow a...
