In the article referenced above they used a W2 TR with LOTS of rework to fit the Victors. Good article !

    70’ 340 casting mark or not ?

Quick question - trying to identify the significance of a mark across couple of cylinders (the large X) . I searched everything I can think of and while I found few other with similar mark, I haven’t found an explanations. Block mag’d and sonic tested with good results so just curious at this...

    Big Inch Smallblock

Im building a 3.79 now >4.00 and airflow becomes limiting factor for most reasonable / feasible builds. Nothing wrong with a well built 3.58 or 3.79 stroke 340 for most people. @PROSTOCKTOM on here is a good choice for crankshafts and rods.

Rod angle can get pretty steep at 4.250 and create side loading issues.

    First Mopar Build 360/422 CID

Moved timing to 34, moved to 31 nozzle, clocked floats ( had to google that one...) and still looking for blue cam. Runs really good but traction is a new issue to now address, pulls very hard from 3000-6000 ( rev limited ). It's more than I need for a street car so I am very pleased at this...

Thanks Brian, working om those changes today and will report back. I am setting up a 4 bbl with spacer on an air gap intake just to see how performance changes but will continue to dial in six pack as well.

I will post better engine pics ASAP, it looks much better in the car. I am going to do everything possible to make the six pack work. I really like it but being a novice at this I have been reading everything I can find to get them dialed in correctly. More to come...

Awesome, thanks ! I will give that a try tomorrow. Really trying to get six pack to work then move to a ported version. I have several 4 bbl intakes and a couple of dominators but want to work thru tuning on 6 bbl first.....

    First Mopar Build 360/422 CID

Appreciate that info, it pulls to about 3500 then when you really get into it it will hesitate a bit before coming on strong.....Just isn't a smooth transition to wot. Only pulling 7.5-8.0 in vacuum at idle with 15 deg initial timing. Curve is 36 total all in by 3000.

Motor is in and runs good. I am trying to get the six pack dialed in and trying different timing curves as well. I will post picks of the motor in the car as well as chassis dyno results when they are available. I also installed the Isis Power 3 cell electrical system that is awesome and was a...

    First Mopar Build 360/422 CID

Thanks DC1 will do and I think it will be fine for what I am doing with the car. I am having minor hood clearance issues with the spacer and a rally hood. I modified the hood scoops so they are somewhat functional but top of air cleaner hits center of hood by about 3/8 to 1/2 inch.....not sure...

    First Mopar Build 360/422 CID

Most people are saying the six pack will cost 50 HP, which is probably right. I am hoping the spacer and mild porting help a little. We went with a lunati solid 60441 camshaft and tti step headers. We'll have to see about the drag strip.....it's a 4 speed car so with me driving it'll need a rev...

    IMM and MRL Guys

Just another ditto for IMM. I purchased a set of their RHS heads from Brian this summer and he was awesome to deal with. Very willing to help me work thru my build options and did a great job preparing the heads. I will go back to them for all future engine needs.
