Low Dollar 318 Grand Finale Exit !!

Give it hell, those old 318 are tough. Sold a old 75 power wagon I had to a guy, he just wanted the sheet metal. I told him the engine was good, he doubted me since it had not been started for two years. He later called me and he said he dumped some gas down the carb, put in a fresh battery...

    Shuttered drag strip to reopen

Yes the old Kanawa Valley strip is opening this year. Plus there was a new one that opened up in Logan Co. last year. Sad thing is both are about a 2.5 hr trip for me, but not complaining for having somewhere to race in WV.

    Weight loss.

Vacuum bag parts will increase strength, because it removes gasses, and compacts the part better. Good CF parts are made in an autoclave, by vacuum bagging, then the chamber applies pressure to compact the fibers.

    Man the memories. This hurts

That stove will make some heat. I can see the black smoke comming out the chimmley now when you put some lunkers on. The secret is to keep coals hot to start the fire the next day.

Low Dollar 318 Grand Finale Exit !!

Nothing wrong with good biscuits and gravy. Make the gravy out of the sausage grease, good old brown gravy, not the commercial white gravy crap.

Low Dollar 318 Grand Finale Exit !!

I think you can do it, converter and gears will make the track times, but the sad thing its really not going to be enjoyable on the street. When I think gears, its around a 4.30 or maybe at least a 4.10.

I put the Goodyear's on my camper, no issues with them. Most likely my car trailer will get the same tires.

Anyone else going through trailer tires this summer?

Damn Carlisle radials, had one blow on my camping trailer, about 2 miles from home leaving to go camping. The tires were less than 2 years old, destroyed my fender, shoved the heater into the cabin, and took out the steps. One tire did alot of damage. I even checked the air pressure before...

    Weight loss.

I work with carbon fiber every day, where I work we manufacture aircraft parts. The way we dispose of rolls of carbon fiber pre-preg, is to un-roll them, in the parking lot. Let the sun cure the material, cut the material up with scissors, and in the dumpster it goes. Legal way of disposing of...

Went to the Motorsports Hall of Fame at Daytona International Speedway Today

He had a bunch of Hudsons, my favorite was a 1929, it was a sweet original. That car would cruise down the interstate at 70 mph, not breaking a sweat. It had to of had some kind of od in it from the factory.
