A guy I used to work for loved Hudsons.
He pulled a twin H out of a car, and put it in a Hudson pickup.

I think those Ardun overhead valve heads are on a flathead Ford block
I have never seen the overhead valve heads conversion .in person, very rare to include the intake, which had a 3 bolt Stromberg carb on it. Notice the magneto in the timing cover
Ardun, Arkus Duntov was the creator of the Corvette.

I loved Hudson's the second I laid my eyes on one for sale in the mid 70s
My father said no way
I had no idea that they dominated Nascar from 51-53

He had a bunch of Hudsons, my favorite was a 1929, it was a sweet original.
That car would cruise down the interstate at 70 mph, not breaking a sweat.
It had to of had some kind of od in it from the factory.

Not sure if it is the same but an overhead valve flat head shows up at good guys in colorado every year
