    ......HP is never money badly spent. I dunno if i'll never race it. But I want to be able to take it out on the roads when weather is good. Rest of car is actually pretty decent, once I finish the few things I need to. I don't think 500hp is unreasonable, 700 might be, but 500 should be doable.

    now that I think about it, its kinda a DRRR moment. Of coarse you want the doors to close before your beef up the frame and essentially "lock" it into position. Dunno what I was thinking....still a little tired of from all the OT i am working I suppose.

    ya, ultimately it will be painted, so ya. Redoing hinges and beefing it up might as well be added to the list, regardless. Plus, I plan on shaving the door handles and doing the poplock setup.

    with that being said, hinges would be easy compared to frame shop and cheaper... however with my plans for new k member, subframe connectors, and hemi...may be prudent at some point to get it on a rack and get her straight as can be. for now thought I need a fix

    the door fit is off, like when you go to close it, it is lower then it should be, the catch is lower then the striker ?bar? on the striker panel...gotta kinda push it hard and it will close... as far as hinges, i did try to lift up on it, seems firm.

    eh, thats not true from what I see. I am going to be making my own subframes out of square tubing, and it would be easy enough to put lenghth of conduit inside of that.
