Hmmmm, I remember someone on here did it before, but that was years ago and can't remember what all was done

How many of yous have done mini tubs in a dart sport or duster with a fold down rear seat and retained it? What all is needed to be done?

front or rear fenders? on my 99 ram I pulled the bedsides out 2" for more tire coverage. I just cut the wheel well between the bedside and the bed floor, pulled it out and stuck something 2" wide between the cut halfs and welded in a piece of sheetmetal

They just dont look right on anything but the new challengers Seen em on a 70 challanger and a 69 charger, and now this firebird and they look horrible, dont fit the cars at all

Duster, dart sport and demon are all the same, regular darts are different

What all do you need to do for it to be "finished"? Are you goin to be painting all the jambs? If so you'll need to leave some interior trim out If you gotta put an engine in I'd do it before if you don't plan on painting the engine bay, that way you don't have to worry about scuffing the paint...

haven't seen it at any parts stores, just walmart and hardware stores (ace, hope depot ect) and thanks fj5 duster, lots of time and money in it, and still not close to done

looks correct, they are a ***** to fold down with no hood, with the hood on you get that leverage to fold em

yup, but now they offer it in spray cans so you can basically paint whatever you want. walmart carries black and white, some hardware stores carry red, grey, and blue. and you can also get a glossifier, which is basically a clear coat

I did the blackout on the hood of my truck. glad I used it, first time I did it didn't like how it looked, so I peeled it off and redid it with a couple touches and love it 1st time 2nd time

just cut it out and fill in it, don't need no key hole on the passenger side

too the best of my knowledge, its leaking from the windshield gasket, which I have already ordered. and since im ripping the car apart to do bodywork next summer, I mid as well replace the wiper seals as well

got the same problem on my sport, and been seeing a lot of posts about the wiper seals. where abouts can I find these?

I know people have done the j-bars (or similar) in the wheel well, which is what I plan on doing. But I also like the idea of the tubular radiator support behind the factory one to help hide it. I indeed plan on doing frame connectors and torque boxes myself, and since I'm putting t-tops on it...

Yup, already planned on welding plays to the frame and firewall for the j-bars I'm surprised, almost 150 views and no pics, figured a quite a bit of people on here have reinforced this area

I could, but I won't have front shocks, and I don't want any breaching that can be seen with the hood open

I figured I'll put in a pair of j-bars in Frome the fire wall, weld em to the shock towers, and down to the frame rails, them plate the shock towers. and figure I'll add a couple more braces in somewhere

yeah that's what I was thinking, but wanna see what others have done to help get ideas. I'm not gonna be doing any hopping or anything with this. just a simple up down setup with some old skool aircraft pumps which are slow. just something to get it down on the ground and keep it traditional

putting hydraulics in my dart, and the hydraulic cylinder and mini coil spring is gonna go in place of the shock, so I'm gonna have to reinforce that area pretty good
