would you buy one of these?

Here is mine. 78 Challenger 440 with 906's and a .509 hydraulic cam. Just about as stock as it can be and still be a race car. Not enough room for a big radiator or I may try to go cruising. At 3350# it has run 11.04 at 106, running out of breath and rattling the valvetrain but, I usually go 1/8...

Gues what? another header thread!!! all are welcome

Hooker's SUCK donkey parts! I suppose they'd work "if" they were the only pipes available. BUT I learned my lesson, make sure you Inspect the sealing flanges for flatness, real good, if you buy Hooker Headers. I'll buy Hedman, from now on.

    OK What the....??????

Neighbor just put a 383 Chebbie in a Rolls Royce, complete with a Rustang tubular K-member and associated underpinnings. He keeps telling me he wants a wheel stander and I don't have the heart to tell him, the wheelbase is about 3 feet too long.

    Did this EVER happen?

I don't believe they ever finished the agreement. This was all about Nissan wanting to get a share of the Cummins contract and from what I've read lately, they have negotiate a deal on a brand new lightweight V-8 Cummins. http://www.nissanusa.com/future-and-concept-vehicles/frontier-diesel-runner

My Daughter's first time driving - had to share!

Wife wouldn't let our kid drive the Duster, "It's too fast!" Her first drive was in a Honda Element and she's still running the wheels off of it, 4 years later. Baby girl was in her height of glory when I let her drive our 2010 Challenger SE. That one, she'll remember!

    can an A-body tow?

My brother was towing a 19' Sportcraft-open bow with a Berretta and he found, what most everyone has said. Most cars have more than enough engine power, but not near enough braking power to deal with a trailer.

    Anyone used a Marine engine?

Pulled an engine out of a New Yorker a few years ago and it was of the Marine variety. When we sonic tested it we found that it was a little thicker than a standard street block. It's in a friends NSS car.

All the Darts look sweet in Orange, but that's not one of the choices. Blue, if all I get is the 2 colors to pick from!

    WIW Old industrial hemi

First thing to do is take it apart to find out if it's any good. It may be about to lose the main webs after pounding away at a huge pump for 40 years. No doubt the cylinder walls will be worn quite oval and the valve guides will be gone, but the main caps might have walked around enough to have...

"Charlotte" Rolls in "Park". . .

Sounds like its out of adjustment and its not hard to fix. If it's a column shift theres a link at the cross shaft under the drivers floor, to make adjustments at. Floor shift models are similar, but ya gotta get the car up in the air a little to get to it. Don't let it stay out of adjustment...

    Who knows Dodge Ram auto.Transmissions?

If you get done changing the transducer and it still acts up, you may have to replace the throttle position sensor. My '95 truck starts shifting goofy about every 4 years and I have to change the TPS.
