Yes, LA heads are at a angle and magnum heads are straight up and down. You can buy heads or get yours drilled so it has both patterns this is in regards to the bolt pattern. Also the water necks and bypass hose location are different Oh sorry standard hydraulic.

Im currently running a set of magnum heads on my 360. I have a lead on a set of 915 J heads. Can someone please tell me the differences of the two heads and if one is better than the other? Also what is a fair price for a set of bare J heads that have been magnafluxed but need a valve grind.

I am using hydraulic lifters so not sure how much that affects the length? Im also using the stock 1.6 ratio rockers and valve train.

Dont worry about it, Im thinking my ignition system is lacking anyways. They had to back my engine off at 6k at the Dyno, because it was falling off. Due to the ignition system not keeping up. I've been debating about Trail Beasts HEI set up actually.

I'm starting to hook everything up on my engine. I've got a LA 360 with magnum heads and a air gap intake. I'm wondering what you guys do to hook up the throttle and the kick down linkage? I've thought about just bending the original LA bracket but not sure if the angles will work.

Well its not that but the fact that when I called a Dodge Dealership only 3 dealerships in the country had a set.. I called one of them and they didnt have them. So its a matter of finding them also.. If I cant find them Im wondering what others are using.

Im only running a XE268 cam. So no it is not a high lift cam. Honestly Im glad I asked this question, because I was never sure of the whole when to use roller rockers. I think I will just stick with the stock set up for now. Thanks for the input!
