    Man getting motivated is hard

Happy Birthday! I hear you on the lack of motivation, I have been suffering from the same thing for a while. My car has been stuck in pieces for about a year now. Not sure I would have torn it apart if I knew it was going to drag out like this.

    EFI information

I think either could work for you. I had the FiTech on my slant, put 1000's of miles on it with Zero issues ( other than a handheld connector issue - they replaced it ). A lot of the issues with either system, are install induced. make sure you have good clean fuel ( correct filters ) good...

72 Demon on BaT... Not mine.

my guess, they shaved the side markers like I did because in 72 they were ugly plastic crap. the grill is a 70-71 ( 72 are a ***** to find in good condition ). from the pictures it doesnt look bad.

    MAGNUM FORCE SUSPENTIONS

I don't have one ( coil over set ups ), but if I was going to put one on my car it would either be a HDK or Reilly Motorsports. no way I would ever bolt that Magnumfarce crap on anything I own.

Welded differentials.....who is willing to admit that they have done it?

I ran a mini , then switched to a full spool in my Dart. drove it on the street plenty. never had an issue. it was a big block drag car, so handling was never its strong suit.

Silicone as an exhaust manifold sealant??

I have used the felpro gasket on a few slants. never had an issue. just make sure you follow the torque spec. if I remember correctly it is really low, like 10ft lbs.

    Screwed,can not work on car.

while Im sure its frustrating, but like others have said its best for everyone involved. the sooner people figure out they need to stay home and away from everyone. the sooner we can get back to normal.

I got a nice engine update today.

it could just be the way they look in the picture but, I agree they do look like offset rockers ( max wedge style, indy ect )

I got a nice engine update today.

750 will work but leave some on the table, I agree with the previous posters 850 would be the way to go.

    Decisions....Gas or Diesel

we made the mistake of trading in our 7.3 to get the 6.0 ( got a great deal because I worked there ) luckily we have avoided most of the 6.0 problems with ours. 260k on it now but, we deleted the egr cooler, put in a coolant filter and put a exhaust on it. the body is beyond toast due to the...

    Decisions....Gas or Diesel

pre 2004 Diesel all day, after that they started adding all kids of emission crap on em. the new ones with the Deff and even more emission crap you can keep. have seen plenty of the new lighter duty diesels ( in the 1500's ) stranded on the side of the road due to regen issues. I worked on the...

    Pre-Oiling a Used Engine?

I would pre-oil it before start up. if its been sitting that long its cheap insurance against a dry start.

What do you use to winterize?

tank of gas ( straight from the pump - never had issues with the ethanol ) with sea-foam in it, air up the tires before I put it in the trailer for winter ( keeps it out of harm while I work on other projects ). disconnect the battery once in. let it sit until spring ( unless we get a real warm...

    New car rant

I paid less than sticker, the WRX I guess could be considered a GNX of the tuner world. I always take care of my cars so when I trade them in they look the same as when they roll off the lot. That probably helped a Lot, since most are fart canned and /or riced out when traded in.

    New car rant

all depends on what you buy, big 3 car/truck? yep it tanks when you pull off the lot. my WRX I drove for 3 years, put 50k on it and traded it in and got 1500 less than I bought it for. 1500 to drive a car for 3 years.... my forester wasn't as good but still wasn't bad. I'm betting my Tundra...

    trailer winch

we have used a cheapo harbor freight 3000 to drag just about everything on the trailer. even a broke down skid steer. my guess is those long leads are killing you. we have a battery in a box we hook up to the winch with less than 5 feet of wire.
