    Run regular unleaded fuel. The /6 does not need premium. It may even run better & improve the mileage. This is of course if the motor is stock.

    Since you have done all of the above, it should at least start. Are you running fuel from the gas tank? If so, what condition is it in and is the gas stale? If its questionable, run a bypass can with fresh fuel to the pump.

    Put the damper back on. Pull all the spark plugs. Squirt some oil down each cylinder. Spin it by hand with the damper. Put plugs back in.

    1960 Plymouth Valiant Slant Six help!

    Automatics are affected also. It involves the '67 and earlier small converter pilot hole vs the enlarged '68 and later. Torque converters are not interchangable between the two. There are ways around this though and can easily be made to work with a bushing or risk flexplate damage.
