Has anybody bought a gas tank and/or sending unit from this company? Feedback Wanted

Out of 1680 sales last month they have 6 negatives. All indicate difficult to deal with, bad communications. Probably not a problem if you are sure you are bidding on the right part. You know what they say can't please everyone. Ratio is actually pretty good.

Another step backwards, yet again. Pics added

Even though they have a threaded stud. All the factory wires I have seen on "A" bodies are rubber boot style that just press on to the sending unit (almost like a mini 90 degree spark plug wire boot). Don't know if that had anything to do with your problem or not. Might be able to remove the...

    .. water-methanol injection ?? ..

My friend is running it on a supercharged application in road racing. During some chassis dyno runs we did it actually hurt power output. It may not of been set up right, I don't know, but we still use it to cool the intake charge and to help with detonation issues as the motor is some what high...

Fuel filler neck grommet won't seal?

Shouldn't be any play at all. I think they have a couple different sizes. Different between early and later "A" bodies possibly, maybe you have wrong one. The installs I have done were tight. I found it helped to use some WD40 as a lube to install filler neck through grommet.

Gas filler neck to gas tank seal

I had the same problem getting the neck in the tank after the seal was installed. My main concern with a dry fit was damaging the new rubber seal. Remembering a little tip from my days working on bicycles and installing handle bar grips. I sprayed the filler neck with some WD40 and that sucker...

Gas filler neck to gas tank seal

I just purchased a new fill tube to gas tank seal for the 72 Dart part#3404182. It looks a little different than the original. On the new one there seems to be one side with more rubber like a double seal. The parts guy said it was like an additional dust seal they added but I'm wondering if...

Problems ethanol causes in vintage cars?

I can't keep a weed eater or blower motor running properly the last five years or so. If they run the little fuel pump priming ball starts leaking. Fix that then next thing I know it will only run with the chock on. I know it has to do with todays fuel. I'm doing away with those problems and...

    NOS--should I??

I understand you wanting to keep up with the newer Vettes and I know they are fast. But I think most road course drivers/instructors would encourage you to learn to drive what you have faster out of the corners rather than adding horsepower. Pretty sure NOS is not something they like to see...

Electric vs. Mechanical Fuel pump debate

Being in California we get to drive all year long. I say keep it simple run a mechanical pump. They make after market pumps that pump 110 GPM and more. Plus they are safer if you are ever in an accident. If the motor dies no more fuel blowing all over that hot engine. Leave the electric...
