Nice thing about gas leaks is they are reasonably easy to detect as well as to avoid for that matter. New rubber lines, tank seals and rebuilt carburetor should all but guarantee you're car fuel leak free.

Once again trying to piece this car back together. The connector is located over by the washer bottle. I don't see any holes where it was mounted on the firewall or inner fender. Anybody have pictures? Is it in the same place for slant 6 and the V8 cars?

I'm trying to put a basket case car back together, but with a V8 from a 74 Valiant. The under hood wiring on the 72 looks like it was a points ignition as far as I can tell. Looking like I may need the electronic ignition conversion harness for this later model V8 with electronic ignition.

I need a 1969 225 exhaust manifold. I found one that says part number 2268760 should fit 68 and earlier 225 Would that bolt right up on the 225 from a 1969?

Picked up a 69 Valiant today and drove it 130 Freeway miles home at 65mph. It took 5.4 Gallons for 24mpg. Just checking to see what others here were getting.
