    dual quad small blocks?

The D-64 & 66 are small port manifolds. To seal well, the top of the ports at the head should be built up and the port mouth reshaped. I'd certainly buy a new big port dual quad Edelbrock if they made one.

Scat Pack 4 piston Brembo calipers and rotors

I've used stock hubs as well as hubs from Baer and Doctor Diff. I've also had custom hubs made. Just all depends on the circumstances. The Mercedes rotors were modified slightly to fit on a 5 on 4.5 BC hub.

    dual quad small blocks?

inline dual quads: offy version is a single plane with VERY SHORT RUNNERS. I think this is why they have never really caught on, especially on a street car. The Edelbrock D-64 and D-66 are dual plane dual quad manifolds and they seem to work better especially on a street car. I'm putting...

    18" Wheel help

If you want to use a 8” wheel up front you need more than 4.5” of backspace if you want to actually use the rim width to run more tire. Realistically you need at least 5” of backspace on an 8” rim in the front to make running the 8” worthwhile vs a 7” wide rim. That Demon is only running a...

    My Luck

My luck today... just hoping it holds until morning when the hardware store opens. We work with what we have. The valve broke off around 10 pm, I thread taped a piece of threaded pipe, screwed it in with pliers, screwed a shutoff valve on the end, and taped the hell out of it.

    Flasher problem

Gonna have to phrase your question differently for me, I don't understand what your asking. Are you saying that your emergency flashers don't work?

    what size megafuse?

An example of similar to what you’re talking about. A little hackery of a modern (2002 Dodge Durango) battery tray with a touch of overkill for connections. AGC 2 fuse box mounted to 1/4 inch lexan and connected via a copper bus bar fed by a 100 amp fuse and a separate 8 gauge loop with 100 amp...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Went back out to shop, cut the risers for the seats. I-beam used for semi trailer van body floor cross members. Makes a nice channel for 3-1/2” high slide out storage boxes. Got the e-brake release working too.

    360 vs 383

I guess some folks are totally ignoring the stock eliminator I spoke of earlier. Those were the 343 HP 383. They mopped it up in stock eliminator.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with the first sentence and with the last sentence. Here's my experience, with that so-called, "garbage 5/64 ring-pack" As to power; My 367 has gone 93 in Eighth, at 3457 pounds, at 900 ft elevation, which the Wallace estimates is 430 hp. As to heat: and...

Project "Chihuahua" '65 Formula S Restoration "Estilo Mexicano"

The center section was much easier with large slots ready to access the four threaded studs. I used some circular rubber discs on the studs to seal the holes (see photo post #326). I tried not to over-tighten anything. The factory center rubbery gasket against the window is not in the best of...

273 commando cylinder head bolt torque specs ? same as 340 ?

Bolt torque is based on bolt size, type of bolt thread pitch, metallurgy of the bolt and block, and the amount of allowable stretch. If you over torque the bolts they are more likely to break. To me the engineers who designed the parts would be a better source of info. 10 more lbft may be...
