as i got into the whole classic/muscle car game later in life at 35 and had never as much replaced a battery cable, i wanted someone who knows much more than i do to go over the car before summer driving season. over the pasts 6 months i learned a tremendous amount about cars, patience...

how bad is winter for an old car?

i know that sound extremely dumb to ask. but here's my scenario, i have a good sized garage that can hold 1 car plus all my tools etc but with the car in it, i can't work on anything but that car. i have a few projects going on and i am thinking of getting one of those "car tent" things to...

LOTS DONE!! many thanks to FABO

well on my way in a few to drop off the Dart for an alignment spent the better half of 4 months learning a lot about the car and MOPARS in general. i'll post pics in a bit but : started with a 67 dodge dart gt grocery getter /6 ended with: mildly warmed up 318 with (supposedly) 360...

SHE RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! many thanks to FABO!

well my bud came over last night and in under 3 hours we had the wiring sorted. i traced a short to the wires on the column - when i had put the col back in after swapping in the 318 and all its bits i must have torn the wiring as the red wire was torn a bit. fixed that and we finally had juice...

PLS HELP! - running into issues with /6 to 318 conversion

well beyond the many brainless wonders i have done, i am now thoroughly confused. between trying to assemble the 67's /6 points wiring to the 318 elec ignition, and figuring out how to hook up all the throttle lines and vaccuum hoses, and the trans adjustment, i am lost. also the 67 is a floor...

oh geez - major gas spill on driveway - will it ignite?

i know it sounds rediculous, but my wife is coming back with the baby after 4 days away. i walked the dog this morning and smelled gas and looked at the dart - somehow the fuel line was below the tank or something so gravity did its magic and ther is a huge gas stain on what used to be the...

seat of the pants difference between /6 and a 318

hey everyone well i think i am going to grab the 76 dart swinger donor car for a couple reasons. it's fairly cheap at 750 and i should end up with enough parts between it and my 67 to get the disks and all that stuff onto my 67 and finish up a lot of the missing bits for the 53 pilothouse...

    came upon a 76 dart donor car w/ 318

well i am enjoying my 67 dart and have a plan to get it to where i'd like it- mainly starting with the interior, followed by some areas of body work then paint, and then possibly tackling the performance side of things. so as a web designer i am on the web all day long and i get caught up on...
